My sister joined this studio believing it was a safe, Christian environment, but instead she was manipulated by the owners' son (25) shortly after she turned 18. He continued pursuing teenage girls at the studio while leadership ignored the behavior and protected him instead of the students.When my sister finally spoke up, he was allowed to stay at the studio while the women and girls involved were reprimanded/fired. She tried showing information that he assumed she was 17 at the time, but the owner (name is posted on this page) took no time to shut her down and refused to see any proof. Even though my sister was of age, she had only been 18 for less than a month, and even as a legal adult he should not have been engaging with her as he was 7 years older than her and knew better. Watching her lose what she thought was her safe place has been heartbreaking.Parents need to be extremely careful about who they trust around their daughters. I suggest finding a studio that does not let such disgusting behavior happen around or to your kids and teens.This studio cares more about protecting their image and family than protecting the young women attending their classes. In the end, I think J&J has a lot they need to improve, like keeping their son away from young women and teens!

The young male instructor was ok and seemed shy to talk to a newcomer. It was ok, but I could not say I liked the place because their installation in the classroom for students is pretty decent. For example, they do not install a whole mirror to cover the side of the wall, so students can not see how they are dancing. Learning new movements of hip-hop dance is important, but also checking oneself is important with the body's lines while dancing. Also, the class was dirty and not organized as if being in a big garage. For this reason, I did not go back to the place to register Hip-pop class and started looking for other places, and I found an online class for myself.

The owner also only has 1-2 semesters in all other styles of dance but teaches them anyway except hip hop. One of her other teachers has zero dance experience yet she is teaching dance classes. Also if your child has a disability the owner does not know how handle your child and will find a way to remove them from the studio or pass them off to another teacher. They really only want competition students and don't value recreation students.

CDC has a wonderful, kind, and supportive community. it is a professional studio that focuses on preparing their students to be professional dancers. Recently had surgery and was unable to work out for a few months. So I took a 3 month medical freeze on Feb 12 to recuperate. I was in a few weeks ago to check on returning May 12 after being gone 3 months. I met front desk staff named Tom and asked if he was the new manager. He said the women beside him was now the club manager and she listened as he introduced her. He proceeded to tell me it was above his pay grade if I could return on the 12th due to complicated billing cycle on the 17th. So I came back in today (16th) and Tom said my membership doesn't renew until tomorrow and had to leave. Was surprised after being a member for 8 years that he made an issue out of 1 day after being gone over 3 months. Mr. North's demeaning attitude and lack of interest in trying to help me were unpleasant, and I cancelled my membership due to how he treated me. The club manager was not present this time but she overheard his previous comments the first time.
