TLDR: good food, warm atmosphere, hometown feel, excellent prices Already looking forward to coming back to one of my new fav spots in Bristol. The place is cozy (they even have a fireplace going for the winter!) with attentive service. The food was delicious-- I got the salmon with my choice of two sides (sweet potato fries and rice pilaf). All were so good-- and only for $25! My boyfriend got the Galway Chicken Sandwich which was good (he said the fries were just average-- so maybe get the sweet potato fries bc they seemed better.) Def stop by for a delish casual lunch or dinner.

We arrived midday for lunch and were quickly greeted and seated outside on the patio by our server. The patio was deserted on our visit but plenty of space for many others. We had the Rueben sandwich served with fries and a pickle as well as the meatloaf mountain . Both were delicious! Aidan's never disappoints when it comes to flavor. We would highly recommend

We are from out of town and a local recommended Aidans... so glad she did! My pot pie was delicious and the service was great too! We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of room! Hopefully we will be back in town to come back!

I imagine this restaurant is THE place to be on St. Patrick's Day in Bristol. Lively atmosphere, great drinks, plenty of space downstairs and upstairs, and bartenders who are adept at handling large crowds! My husband, friends, and I enjoyed late night drinks to end our evening. We got to see some entrees, and the food looked great too!

My wife and I took a ride from Cumberland to Bristol. Had lunch at Aidan's Pub which we have always loved. Understandably, I'm 100% Irish. So as a loyal Irishman I ordered A pint and a Reuben and my wife the fish Rueben. My Reuben was the best I've ever-had. Atmosphere was amazing (roaring fireplace) view of Bristol harbor. Waitress extremely friendly. Prices were extremely low for what you get. (Don't tell the owner. If you don't believe me check out the pictures below. Well worth the hour drive both ways. My highest rating

Food was delicious and drinks were perfect. Our waitress was very nice. Comfy little Irish style restaurant and pub.

We're From long island visiting family. Drive past a few times but never had the chance to stop in. I recommended my daughter try it and she loved it so we had to stop in. Ambiance was great. Live the decor. Felt right at home. There was Plenty of room we we're a party of 8 and the parking lot had plenty of room also. Service was great she did very well and was very nice. The Apps were good, had the shepherds pie it was good. I felt like the gravy could've been better. Sad to say it felt like jarred gravy. I was surprised. It was good but could've been way better. I'd love to go back and sit at the bar or eat again. We will definitely be back.

It's so good to be able to go back to Aidan's after a few month of COVID induced shutdown. The staff and the owner have done a lot to make it easy for the customers like us to dine there. They take reservations over the phone or walk-up, take your info for contact tracing purposes, requiring a mask, and place people far enough to ensure good social distancing. All staff wear masks and some wear gloves. All executed well here. This gives me the confidence I need to come back until we have the cure and the vaccine. The menus are now somewhat limited, but my bar food fav, nachos are still on the menu! Come on down to the downtown Bristol by the water and enjoy the food and drinks outside in the patio, al fresco dining.

Our server Sonny cheerfully greeted us, made food and drink recommendations, listened and catered to our allergies, and took our orders quickly and accurately. She went above and beyond to make sure my shellfish allergy could be accommodated by speaking with the kitchen staff and calling the owner. I was happy to hear that the smash burger and French fries were safe for my to eat, and they did not disappoint!!! I ordered a painkiller that was insanely reminiscent of the painkillers at The Soggy Dollar in the BVI. Highly recommend it! This place has many cool historical features that contribute to its charm. If you're in the area, check them out!

The burger I ordered (bacon cheeseburger with no bacon) was delicious. No complaints there and I will probably reorder. The only problem here was that I asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, to which the waiter simply said okay. Turns out it was an undisclosed upcharge. Not only did he not tell me it would be $2.75 (or something like that) more, but the fries are listed as the same price online. When I told him that, he said that their online menu is really old (this is to say, don't look at it! and also, not sure why they wouldn't update it if they know it's incorrect). Sure enough, the printed menu also said nothing about an upcharge for a different fry, so ultimately I was able to remove the charge, but it was a little awkward and frustrating. My only other complaint is not particularly the fault of the restaurant, but I suppose just a side effect of the laidback vibes. A group of 7 or 8 people came in like 20 minutes after us and was so loud that I almost suggested we leave. My guess is they were drunk, but it was a Wednesday night around 6:00, so I wouldn't have expected that. They were so loud that I was yelling to my friend who was within arm's length. Totally changed the vibe and enjoyment for me.

The drink menu was not very extensive. Our Asian salad cups appetizer tasted exactly like an Asian salad mix I've bought at the grocery store and looked like it too - I'm convinced that's exactly how they prepared this. My veggie burger had burnt edges and wasn't too enjoyable flavor-wise. It didn't help my overall impression that when I got takeout here another time, they totally butchered my boyfriend's name when we ordered over the phone, and we had a hard time picking up our order because of this (how you get "Stephanie" from "Anthony," I just really don't know). I think this place just gets lucky having a good location across from Independence Park and being close to but just out of the way from downtown. Can't say I was impressed by the food - there are too many other good options in Bristol, I just can't say I'd recommend this to others. Perhaps it's improved since I visited, but it's a pass for me based on experiences I've had.

I was expecting it to be a dive (I do love a good dive bar!), but Stingy Alley is beautiful and classy, with an amazing cocktail menu and small bites as well. There are many different types of seating - bar, high top tables, benches, regular tables, and a cute and comfy corner booth with throw pillows, which is where we opted to sit. Service was excellent. I was expecting to have to order at the bar, but Stingy Alley has table service. My husband ordered the espresso martini and I went with the Dubai chocolate martini. Both were outstanding - I could easily have tried a few more of the dessert cocktails, but alas we had a 40 minute drive home so that will have to wait for another visit. They have a daily menu, and I've had some friends suggest this place as their favorite restaurant. We parked blocks away due to the lack of adequate parking. Once we walked in, we were greeted with pleasant smiles from the staff. The menu was short, which we attributed to a focus on quality. We ordered a French onion dip and a littleneck entree as an app for the table. We were served with lukewarm water, neither cold nor hot. The apostle John might have been somewhat disappointed (Rev 3:16). The dip was decent but was somewhat lacking in great onion flavor. But nothing to complain about. The little necks were served in a small bowl and lacked a bit of salt. Rather pricey for $26, but this place charges $6 just for bread and butter, so maybe it's just inflation? Enter the entrees. They apparently were short on chicken legs so they asked to substitute chicken breast. Two of us got burgers. First the $20 burgers, which were served with an aioli with no offer of ketchup or other condiments. In short, both burgers were terrible. Far worse than we make at home. It's always a disappointment when you realize you're paying all this extra for food you can make better at home. The buns were shockingly flat, like someone smashed them by hand. Or in a McDonald's box. Come to think of it, the flavor was similar, though overall the hamburger was somewhat bitter, salty and lacked an appetizing flavor. Wow. We all agreed they were terrible. The fries were also burnt and over salted. My daughter quit on her $30 chicken, so I tried it. The sauce wasn't bad, and it was served with a decent brocollini. But the chicken was some of the driest I've had in a restaurant, with no crisp skin and a uniformly poor texture. No wonder no one finished their entrees. And I hate wasting food. So, as much as we would have wanted to give this place a great rating, we just won't be back. The service, although with a smile, was slow and terrible. Our candle burnt out in the middle of dinner. It was never relit. Our glasses were empty halfway through dinner. No refills on the tepid water. The entrees took an hour and a half before they came out (we were warned the chicken could take 30 min). Generally a very disappointing experience. Hard to explain the rave reviews but our Saturday dinner was a sad bust. The cold wet madeleines they provided in a doggie bag didn't do anything to help. Oh well. Hope y'all have a better experience if you go here.

We were having a lovely dinner in Warren and stopped into Bywater for a quick after-dinner drink. It was a bit cooler out but since they had no seats in the extremely limited bar area, we took the plunge and sat outside near their fire pits. They did not have many wines to choose from BTG which was disappointing. The one I had which was Cinsault was just ok. I had to dump out most of it since I did not enjoy it but that was my fault since sampling it I thought I liked it. My friend had the bartender make her a cocktail with grapefruit since they did not have pineapple. She was looking for a French martini but seemed to enjoy what they made her. My husband's espresso martini was very good I thought and light but could've used some bailey's. We already had dessert so we did not plan on anything else but I know I am interested in returning for dinner. The restaurant is very small inside but I loved the warm lights and decor. It was a very sexy and attractive vibe! If you are ever in Warren I highly recommend coming here for either drinks, dinner, or both. Dress warm if you plan on heading outside to sit near the fire...it does not give off that much heat! Cheers!

If you like thick clam chowder, this is it. For meals we opted to split the honey, hot chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken pizza. Not gonna lie, the bowl of chowder was pretty big, and I was pretty full by the time I was done with it. The honey hot chicken sandwich is more like a honey mustard chicken. It was still pretty good, but if you are expecting hot honey, this is not it. I opted to have the blue cheese on the side with the pizza, because my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza was actually really delicious. It was like a bar pizza that you would get from the south shore. You really can't find this pizza in Rhode Island or in Southern MA, so this was a great find. Staff were friendly and attentive.
