I was worried that I was not going to able to find INEXPENSIVE, storage FOR ONLY A MONTH OR, TWO. But, as it turns out Mary was exactly what I needed, only THREE MONTHS in the Unit, and I was out. I paid the 1st Month's rent, MONCLOVA STORAGE PAID THE SECOND (Promo at the time of booking), AND GOT A FREE LOCK ALSO! The best part was at CHECK OUT, I came over and cleaned out my unit on a Sunday...By the time I called Mary on Monday to inform her, she had already started processing to Move Out, and had the Unit rented. I did not even need to go back in to sign a cancel form, or anything. All I can say is I paid (well under) $150.00 for THREE MONTHS of storage in a 10 x 10 foot Unit, and a FREE LOCK...and truly feel like I got away with robbery...it was soo inexpensive. I'm starting off with 4 Stars since I haven't actually moved in yet…read more I selected this facility due to their overall reviews across multiple sites. I made my reservation online through SelfStorage.com. It was quick, risk free, and easy. I was only disappointed that this facility only allows you to hold the risk free reservation online for one day. But once I was in the office, it sounded like they can extend that once completing your contract. Their prices are reasonable, the site seems very secure, safe, and clean. Safe part of town. Haley, their front desk manager, I believe, was INCREDIBLY friendly and accommodating. She has fantastic customer service and genuinely seems to enjoy her job and care for her clients. I feel very pleased with my decision to rent here. Thank you Haley for everything! She deserves a raise!!

Don't do business at this place. The manager is an alcoholic maniac. She has cancelled my gate code…read moretwice, based on her assumption that I had removed my trailer permanently, when all I did was take it out to use it for a couple days. She doesn't know how to mark the parking spots with straight lines so the tenant in spot 0023 can't seem to park straight in his spot, and was encroaching into my 0022 spot. She would notify me that I was encroaching on his spot when, in fact, it was him encroaching on mine. She would call and demand that I move my trailer. When she canceled my gate code, the second time she decided she wanted to throw me out and she called the police and filed trespass forms. I then tried to rent a spot at another outback storage, she had already called the manager over there and the owner and they won't take my business at all. I wouldn't store anything with Outback at all ever again and I've stored things lots of places and never had a problem. This is the worst Storage Lot I've ever experienced. Debbie is an absolute BITCH.

I went to Outback Self Storage in Holland, Ohio to make a monthly payment for my mother, just like…read moreI have done for the last year or so. I handed the girl behind the counter the check my mother had written and after a few moments, she politely told me that the check was a couple dollars short of the new monthly payment. Since the check was already written, I just asked her to apply that amout to the account. At this point, another girl came over and told me that if I didn't make the entire new monthly payment, there would be a late fee. (I was a little confused because a couple months before when I had gone in to make a payment a few days past the due date, I appologized that the payment was late and was told not to worry, that there was no late fee, I just couldn't access the unit until the payment was made, which I thought was very reasonable.) I asked the second girl when they started charging late fees. She told me that they always charge late fees when the payment is more than ten days late. I was curious why I was previously told there were no late fees, so I asked. At this point, the second girl started getting loud and rudely told me that I should read the contract. I told this second girl that I was having a nice conversation with the first girl when I was interrupted by the belligerent second girl who said that the first girl was new. At this point, the very polite and professional first girl who had been looking at my mother's account on the computer said that the account had a previous credit of $2.76, so there would be no late fee to worry about. The second girl suggested that my mother make the monthly payments in the future. I told her that my mother was bedridden. I then asked the second girl what her name was. She told me her name was Debbie and that she has been the manager there for the last somethingteen years. I then asked her what the owner's name was. She told me that she didn't have to tell me the owner's name and that it was time for me to leave. I told her that I had met the owner the previous month and had a nice conversation with him, that he was a nice guy, drove a new Dodge Ram truck and had given me a free car wash coupon for the business next door. I told her this so that she would know that I was telling her the truth, assuming that she would know what kind of truck he drove and that it was probably not out of character for him to give away a free car wash coupon for being closed on a Saturday when they were normally open. She went over to the phone and told me she was calling the police and was going to have me arrested for trespassing. I thought to myself, for what, asking for the owner's name. I could hear her giving the police my description and I offered to show Debbie my Driver's License and held it up for her to see it so that she could just give the police my name instead of just my physical description, and she yelled at me to back up away from the counter. I then quietly asked the first girl if I had been at all out of line and all she could say is that I was asked to leave. I then went outside and waited for the police to come. I am now not allowed on the property to make payments for my mother and am looking for a different storage company. I would NOT recommend this storage company as long as Debbie is the manager. I feel bad for the owner and wish he would give me a call. My phone number is on the police report.
