The school has incredible teachers that are tremendously devoted to their students--students who are active in community service, environmental work and the local community in addition to studying and working towards the rigorous requirements of the International Baccalaureate diploma. Some of the many fantastic activities include adobe church restoration, working on mountain search and rescue teams through the school wilderness program, and a focus on activism and conflict resolution. With 200 students from over 70 countries, it may be in an isolated location, but there was never an opportunity to bored. It's probably the most stimulating environment I ever lived and worked in, bar none.

They also have trips into town 6 times a week in case you get hungry or want to buy some supplies, but once the lights go out it's curfew time and you either do homework or go to sleep. Also, the nearby hot springs are property of the UWC and so the students have to clean up after the drunken locals. Good size campus for a small college, but seeing as their alumuni is so small they don't have a lot of money to stay competitive.

wish I had read the reviews before enrolling in this school. The level of disorganization is…read moreshocking. Class schedules are often released late, and there have been multiple instances where teachers forget they have a class leaving students to track them down. There's a serious lack of consistency in policies, especially regarding testing. Some students are allowed to make up quizzes, while others aren't, with no clear explanation. What's most frustrating is that I'm paying $62,000 for an education that falls far short of expectations. Many of the instructors are unprepared or know nothing about the material. It feels like the school is more focused on enrollment numbers and NCLEX pass rates than on actually educating its students. That seems to be their main concern is staying in business. If you're considering this school, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. You won't get the education you're paying for or deserve.

Her goal is to retire after 20 years, well they're obliging her regardless of her incompetence... Sweet and funny lady but they are doing an injustice to the students and have been because of her time there. It's sad that she's going to be know this way instead of as a great instructor that she was. It's ruining her reputation and the school is guilty of allowing her to continue. Watching her decline is heartbreaking...

That's more like a six-way intersection, not a crossroads, I guess, but hey, even cooler. Internationally renowned for graduating some talented future-focussed creatives, it's well worth a gander, particularly for a solid appreciation of what makes a print a true Print. The work on the walls revolve, reflecting who's been there, lately, although you'll love the permanent installations by the front door. After a brief tour of collections, the best part of your visit will be the lower levels, where students live and work together, creating startlingly vibrant prints. If you're lucky enough to get a comprehensive overview of the place, as I did, you'll see just how these works are pressed and honed, an extraordinary and ancient process that can't be duplicated by modern ink jets. This is one of those hidden gems tucked aside a college campus that I just assumed, during my five years at UNM, was simply classrooms. Not. Call to arrange your visit, and enter through the doorway next to the parking lot, southwest of Central.

That is really a great way to learn and leave with experience in your field. The school is not very large, which means that you get to know your professors and they get to know you. The campus is always quiet and peaceful. Not a normal college campus. The academics are harder than other universities but I hear if they can make it here they can make it any where. I prefer the campus to the south. Go Aggies! But I am proud my daughter chose this school she is happy. Great thing for females there are many more males than females. Less drama. The food on campus however is another story. Check out a wonderful review by someone with a great sense of humor at Chartwells. That is the only draw back to this campus. I am looking for a room for my daughter off campus so hopefully she can eat real food that doesn't make her sick.
