They have a monopoly by having such a great location so close to the entrance to Big Cedar and several other vacation hot spots. Instead of taking full advantage of it, they squander it with one of the most neglected gas stations I've visited in the area (the other being the Pantry Shell station in Branson) When we pulled up on a Sunday morning, every pump was occupied and several vehicles were waiting their turn. A car finally pulled away and as I pulled in, I wondered: why is the small SUV next to this pump taking so long? I soon found out. The gas pumps slower than a bottle of molasses on a cold morning! Needing just 5 gallons to top off my tank took several minutes. While I was waiting for the gas to trickle in, I thought I'd clean the windows. Nope - no paper towels on either side. Want to wash your hands? Forget about it - no sanitizer in the dispenser (out of both of these items by 10 AM?). Those TV screens that they use to entertain you while you wait? It was turned off and it looked like someone had splashed a soda on it and it had run down the screen and dried. Unlucky enough need Premium for your performance car? Cough up an extra .90 per gallon over regular! It also appears that at one time there was a car wash on the side which is now defunct - shame, since the closest one is several miles away! Final thoughts: As long as I have enough gas in my car to go another 10 minutes into Hollister, I'd never buy gas here again. And, I seriously doubt they'd care.

Now you know me, and you know I love me some fried chicken, but I've never had the chance to just go in and buy an eight piece box of tenders. They've just never had that much. Today, at 1:30, I went in to buy chicken, they had two tenders, and a few chicken body parts but that was pretty much it. I asked if they were cooking more but was told they weren't. I've bought boxed meat from the frozen section that was two years past the expiration date and then they won't give you your money back without a receipt. also have bought ground beef several times that was spoiled and had been sprayed with red dye to make it look fresh but was brown on the inside (gross)! The store is usually pretty clean. There's no competition up here so most stuff is over priced and probably attained cheap because it's close to expiration date.

He then (creepily) demanded to know if we were going to vaccinate our children. He continued on and on, and then proceeded to mock us for saying we probably would vaccinate them. It was very uncomfortable, creepy, and uncalled for. And that also means that he hadn't been vaccinated and doesn't wear a mask, but breathes on fresh vegetables all day at this store. Except for him, it is a good store with nice employees. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the one creepy worker.
