She also helped me understand why my brain misfires like it does which is why I struggle with my mental health. She listens to me and talks out next steps with me so I understand and know what to expect. She's straight forward and matter of fact. So if you're looking for someone to coddle you, she's not the one. She takes your mental health seriously. Her office manager Cat is also matter of fact and to the point. She's not one for small talk or pleasantries but she knows what she's doing and has a great response time to emails! The telehealth visits have made my life so much easier in terms of working around my work schedule. If I could give Dr. Allbritton 10 stars, I would.

I'm so extremely grateful to Dr. Koh for being so throrough, detailed, and meticulous with recording so much info for my chart & my case. I'll forever be eternally grateful to her for the official diagnosis so I could finally begin the first steps of applying for disability. She's highly knowledeable, compassionate, and is genuinely interested in helping her patients find the best solution possible for their ailments. She is a relatively young Dr., but somehow she knows more than doctors who are twice her age!! She graduated from med school from the University Toronto, which I feel is a great advantage because American med schools don't seems to teach hardly anything about super-rare diseases (at least not about the one that I have, which affects roughly 1 out of about every 100,000). If you feel that you're suffering from a rare disease & are hoping for some answers, Dr. Koh is by far the best, most knowledgeable doctor to go see. I spent nearly 30 years of going to specialists, only to be left without a single answer. All the other doctors would never listen & would all always blow me off, so after about ten years of trying, I gave up all hope for over 20 years regarding seeking help from specialists until it became critical for me to start seeking to apply for disability. Dr. Koh is the only doctor who I've ever seen who actually genuinely cares about helping me with my disease & who actually listens to me & who treats me with compassion, dignity & respect!! By far the best specialist I've ever seen, and I've seen my share of doctors off and on going way back to 1997!!

No one returned my call. I called again later in the day and spoke with Tila who is not very knowledgeable and she took a second message for the doctor to return my call. On March 10th the doctor still didn't respond to my messages so I called again and spoke Crisida (name might be misspelled) I gave her the same message "I'm not feeling well and is my blood work normal". She left me on hold and then informed me the doctor was calling me on the other line but I never received a missed call. I waited about 20 minutes and call their office again and I spoke with a lady and didn't get her name but she's an older lady and I heard huffing and pudding attitude over the phone which is ridiculous but she informed me the doctor was supposively calling me again but Crisida failed to tell me that Dr. Abdelmasih was calling me from a blocked number which is fine but then I would need to adjust my phone settings. Third attempt the doctor finally called me and she seemed bothered because she was driving and her responses to my concerns were Uh huh okay. I'm a new patient with UTMB or wait I was a patient with this medical provider and I will medical treatment elsewhere. The staff members who answer your incoming calls need better training and Tila if she's a nurse then IDK why she couldn't answer any of my concerns regarding the medication.

She also is great in notifying us when she won't be in the clinic. Will, is kind and cares about his staff, the patient, and the patient family. He is always ensuring if we need a chair, water, and support. As he is always there to assist. I like Will. When you arrive in the clinic you'll notice the lobby is filled with art of boats and light blue chairs facing every direction. On the wall is a pretty good sized television mounted to the wall and several therapists walking around. Previously, I did not know there was a Memorial TIRR in my area. This location is fairly new. Weirdly, I had made an appointment"appointment request" online and put in all my information including my insurance info. I got a text the next day with 2 different open times and I responded which I wanted. I waited for a confirmation but didn't get one so I called the office to confirm. I then had to REDO ALL THE INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. (Sigh) The office had moved locations since our previous visit. I followed my GPS and found the building. Went in the lobby and walked each wing looking for the office to no avail. I finally had to go into another office and ask where the ENT office was. The lady told me I had to go AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING and the ENT office had its own entrance. No offense but that info would have been nice to know AHEAD OF TIME... like when I spoke to the receptionist on the phone. Office was clean and modern. Upon entering, I wasn't able to check in on the kiosk because the info was wrong. The lady at the desk seemed a bit rude when I informed her. I remember thinking, "This is how NEW PATIENTS are treated/spoken to?) but then she seemed a bit more friendly when I spoke to her a few minutes later. Had a weird problem with my ear since a week so much so that I could not eat or even speak for a…read moreday. I took antibiotics, allergy meds and so on, my voice came back but my left ear was blocked. I tried all possible over the counter meds but it simply did not help. Finally I decided to see a doc. The appointment was quick and to the get to see the doctor even quicker, I mean the wait time was hardly anything. My vitals taken , I was examined in about 5 min. He cleaned up my ear, checked my throat and asked me to come see him if the problem persisted in any form since right now I was fit as a fiddle. Dr. jeffrey Bergeron was really helpful and quick. The clinic itself is sufficiently huge with plenty seating area and the lady at the desk is pretty friendly too, somehow my appointment was canceled, I still don't know if it was a system cliché or something I did, but they put me on the schedule right away and even then it took only about half an hour to be in and out. Am sure to go back there if I ever have an ENT problem. They have a pediatric office just beside it, so mothers, you can get two things done at the same time ...maybe...

A local co worker recommend a nurse practitioner she visits when she's not feeling well. I must say after meeting Ms.Melville and being treated with so much care and professionalism at her office, I now wish she was at my Primary care office back home! I for sure will be using her from now on when I'm in Tx. I was able to confirm that she does virtual visits so I'm so excited to try it. It was affordable too!
