I can't say this place matches the real Akihabara but it tries to - hitting some key components First some great drinks and not over prices. Plus they have Street Fighter 6 and plenty of other games. A must-visit for gamers and drink lovers alike!

A fun vibe. A neon wonderland of Japanese arcade games with great drinks at their bar. They have beer, japanese whiskey, shots, and anime themed cocktails from $6-$8. They also serve instant ramen if you get hungry. Classics such as tekken, street fighter; DDR, and air hockey side by side with new game releases are available to play. They also host tournaments on occasion. Open til midnight, check it out for your next hang out.

Fun place! Lots of Japanese arcade games that would be hard to find elsewhere. A good fix if you're itching for various rhythm games. It was fun trying out their drinks that had anime themed names and boy are they strong drinks!

Rad. Hidden in this shopping area but with the adjacent brewery and movie theater this spot will see a ton of foot traffic in the upcoming years. Lots of parking directly outside the building as well in the parking lots adjacent. Some current construction but Westminster requests that you pardon their dust for a brighter future. Several drink options and lesser food variety. The menu rotates but as more people visit I'm sure they'll flesh that out more. The primary attraction includes the arcade and this spot delivers on that. Sure it's not 1 up or Portland's Ground Kontrol but they have the niche games you want! It's less crowded, the games work, aren't "under repair" , and the staff is friendly. A great pace to meet friends for a birthday or just grab a quiet beer mid day and play Metal Slug.

The boys and I have been coming to Colorado yearly around Spring- Summer time since 2017 (2020 was the only year we couldn't go) This year (2022) the trip started off with weird energy due to mercury being in retrograde. Our Tesla that we rented needed a charge badly so we found some random charging station and needed to pass some time. We looked around and Akihabara was there. It was like a sign from up above. As soon as you enter you can feel the good vibes. The staff is really friendly and down to earth. Really attentive to whatever you need and are really fun and easy to talk to. The game selection! Can we talk about the game selection?? Third Strike, House of the Dead 2, Dead or Alive 2, Street Fighter 2, MK3.. they have so much variety. Fighting games, beat em ups, cabinet shooters. This place is the definition of "time flies when you're having fun" The sake they have on tap had me so confident that I was beating games and DM'ing my hs crushes on Insta. 10/10, 5/5 stars, top 2 and it ain't 2! This is my favorite place in Colorado and I will be coming here every time I visit.

An arcade with plenty of cabinets and quarter-operated games. Many options to choose from, ranging from new and modern games, to vintage games from the 90s, to things like DDR and Taiko drumming. The crowd was all male 20-30 somethings when my friends and I arrived on a Friday night. The bartender seemed to be the only person working, but he was kind. The hygiene of the one bathroom was questionable, with an empty soap dispenser and litter all over the floor. There doesn't seem to be much else going on here aside from the bar, sort of an odd energy here overall. It's a good time with friends and rolls of quarters but I probably wouldn't come here alone.

This place is a blast! So many unique Japanese games you won't find at other arcades. The price per game is good too. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return when in town.

The Japanese rhythm game Maimai. Super fun!

This was a cute little stop in Arvada! Our friends had come here on a previous trip and said we had…read moreto go play NBA Jam here haha. They have a lineup of fun classic arcade games in the front area near the bar, and then there's a larger space with pinball and other arcade games in the back. The ambiance is great with fun wall art, moody lighting, and dark interior. They have cocktails, mocktails/NA options, and food available as well. The bartender was kind and even gave us some tokens another guest had left behind! Games aren't cheap - about $1 per person per play - but I suppose that's what they run these days. We played: NBA Jam Big Buck Hunter Pacman 4-player Guitar Hero Arcade and a few others! Fun with a small group or solo for a few drinks with an activity.

We dipped in here because it's so crazy hot out at the farmers market. Highly recommend popping in here for a snack a drink and playing some arcade games. There's even a room in the back with more games so don't miss that. People working here are super kind and fun. Everything's clean and bright artsy and fun!

I went to a friend's birthday party. It was held in the room with its own entrance well to the left…read moreof the main entrance. When I went in the main, I told them I was there for that event and they directed me down to the proper door. This party room has a bar area as well as several tables and a cozy sitting area. It has its own unisex bathroom. There are sliding barn doors at the front and back of the room to allow both privacy for the party as well as easy pass through for the staff. The servers that were taking care of us were great! My friend had arranged for pizza and everyone was on their own for drinks. We had a variety of pizzas. My favorite was the Jalapeno Popper Pie. It had sweet chili sauce and the toppings were mozzarella, cream cheese, chorizo, bacon and jalapenos. That was delicious! For beer, I started "light" for me. Blarney Stone is a 5% ABV Red Irish Ale. That was tasty, but being that dark is my favorite, I needed to get a pint of Cow Tipper next. Cow Tipper is a 5% ABV milk stout. Dark beers are my jam so I really enjoyed this one. This was a great space for the party. They even let my friend set up their karaoke equipment and we were belting out the tunes. Great time!

Finally made it to Kokopelli after wanting to check it out for a while…read more The beer was good. I'd tell you about the second one, but unfortunately we'll never know. I grabbed a seat at the bar and quickly realized I was putting up numbers that would've made prime Caitlin Clark proud: lots of hand raises, plenty of court awareness, and absolutely no whistle. The beertender to my right was locked into a one-on-one conversation with a guy down the bar like it was Game 7 of the NBA Finals. At one point, I wasn't sure if I was a customer or just part of the décor. The funniest part? While completely ignoring my existence, she was telling the guy a story about a customer she'd put in his place earlier that day for being rude and not saying "please." The irony hit harder than a linebacker. Meanwhile, I was sitting there thinking, "Interesting. So we're enforcing etiquette now? Because acknowledging customers seems like a solid place to start." Shoutout to the other bartender, who eventually came off the bench and saved the day by serving me before I qualified for Social Security. The beer was good enough that I would've happily ordered another round. Unfortunately, the customer service put up such an elite defensive performance against me that I finished my pint and transferred myself to free agency. Maybe it was an off day. I'd give the beer another shot. Assuming I can get drafted.
