As someone who visits McDonald's frequently, this particular location is one of my favorites. We…read morerandomly stumbled into here for a quick bite without realizing it is the viral fancy McDonald's. First you walk through a hallway of Roman statues and plaques, which take you into a spacious dining hall. They have a full bakery section and plenty of seating. I got to try a few Italy speciality items like the Spinach & Parmigiano Croquettes (3 for €2.69) and Tiramisu (€2.90). When in Europe, you can always order a beer at McDonald's too, which is a treat for adults. The best of all, I was able to score the viral beach towel from here while it's been sold out everywhere else!

It's not anything more than "fast food" Roman style, but the simplicity, authenticity and location make it perfection. Either get there early (11-12) or later (2:30-3). My favorite is seasonal, stuffed zucchini flowers, but I've never had anything not worthy of the location and the crowd of locals. The mozzarella in corozza, the pizza bianca, carciofi Romano, etc... It's all great. And the people that own the tiny place also add to my love. They are so gracious, and even wave when I pass by during the day.
