Came here on a vague recommendation by a friend - he said to go down some steps and order the salmon cream spaghetti. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The salmon cream pasta was life changing - perfectly creamy with luscious salmon flavor, al dente like the name suggested, and absolutely flawless with a generous showering of freshly cracked pepper. There were lots of fat chunks of tender juicy salmon hidden in the spaghetti...mmmmm go there just for this, your taste buds will be forever indebted to your genius. read more

Without a doubt some of the best Italian food I've had in my life. The staff are wonderful in addition to the excellently prepared food. I only wished I lived in Tübingen so I could return again and again. Ohne Fragen, am besten italienischen Essen im meinem ganzen Leben. Die Belegschaft sind wunderbar plus das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Ich wünschte, dass ich in Tübingen gewöhnt, zu wieder und wieder zurück gehen. read more

Great Italian food! We arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen was closing and still got everything to order. Authentic service and location- so don't expect anything else :) I will definitely eat there again! read more

All the good reviews that we have read about this property are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special bar drinks, the cucumber infused vodka martini and the fish aquarium was great (even took photos so we could try to replicate at home). The room was so comfortable, everything in Porta Rossa was absolutely spectacular and also easy to deal with . We would recommend to anyone who plans to get married just go in Porta Rossa. Looking forward to staying with you in the future. WHAT A GREAT PLACE !!

Ich muss sagen, dass mich sowohl die Qualität des Essens als auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals (des Besitzers?) sehr enttäuscht hat. Die (normale) Lasagne enthielt gekochten Schinken(!), der leider penetrant nach seiner Plastikpackung schmeckte und auf meine Bitte, meine fast kohlensäurelose Cola auszutauschen, wurde mir sehr unfreundlich eine neue mit exakt dem gleichen Kohlensäuregehalt auf den Tisch geknallt. Ich habe mich jedenfalls nicht wohlgefühlt und finde, dass die Speisen keine authentischen italienischen Gerichte sind. read more

Die Location ist wirklich traumhaft. Das Essen sowie das Personal leider nicht. Unübliche Zubereitung der Gerichte (u.a. schwierig für Lebensmittelallergiker, da sich diese auf eine übliche Zubereitungsweise verlassen). Auch bei Nachfragen, hatten wir leider den Eindruck, dass das Personal nicht weiß, was in den Gerichten für Zutaten zu finden sind. Leider wurde das Personal nicht nur unfreundlich, sondern auch laut auch hatten wir den Eindruck, dass wir so schnell wie möglich fertig sein sollten, um Platz für neue Kunden zu machen read more

Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Das Essen ist einfach, aber die Preise sind gehoben. Dem Restaurant fehlt etwas entscheidendes und das ist die Gastlichkeit. Man hat das Gefühl "abgefertigt" zu werden. In Tübingen gibt es andere Italiener, die gastlicher sind und ein besseres Essen bieten. Wer es gemütlich mag ist hier an der falschen Adresse. Netter Iataliener im historischen Gewölbekeller auf 2 Ebenen unterhalb der Stiftskirche. Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienungen, nette Atmosphäre, gute Weinempfehlung. Haben zwar "nur Pizza" gegessen, die aber lecker geschmeckt hat (teig und Belag perfekt, bei allen 3 Versionen). Etwas enge Sitzverhältnisse, die aber durch das Ambiente wettgemacht wird. read more

Etwa einmal im Jahr sind mein Freund und ich in Tübingen. Mit Freunden, die in der Nähe wohnen, haben wir uns dort verabredet. Auch Kinder waren dabei. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, das Ambiente (wir haben oben gesessen) war sehr nett, das Essen und die Getränke waren gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war prima.
