This is the beautiful van Wayne found for me. I love it

I just used Wayne and his team for the purchase of a Promaster 3500 high roof van for my company. They located EXACTLY what I wanted and got it to me well under my budget. They handled all the paperwork and the process was so easy. This is the second vehicle I have gotten from Al Mac Motors and it definitely will not be the last.

Lose drum in front and silicone to cover oil leak

my friend bought a car there and she paid a lot for it comes to find out that the rear sway bar was broken and the front drums were loss and rattling and someone fixed an oil leak with silicone instead of changing the casket i to pictures of the damage and the mechanic would not even look at the photos which I feel is unprofessional the car keeps going back for repairs it would of helped him if he would of looked at the picture to see where the problem was but the mechanic refused to even look I would not recommend this place to anyone she tried to get a refund because the car is not safe and they totally refused so know she has to trade the car in for a safer car she is very upset about this because she paid a high price for this vehicle so this is my story I would not recommend them

frame rail

Ok so I bought a Wrangler Cash and I must say the buying process was pleasant. We agreed on a price (not a steal either) and were told they do a FULL INSPECTION to check things out before I would take delivery (they do not). This is not an all-out bash on AL Macs just my honest experience for you to learn from. I have owned jeeps in the past so I wasn't looking for perfection with 100k miles BUT This jeep is a mess. I put 400 miles on it in a month of ownership and now I'm in over 5k in repairs and not done yet. This jeep must have been under salt water for years. Both axle joints are bad, hub bearings and the entire steering yoke are rusted out , frame rusted/completely rotted, and pinion seals & axle seals leaking. Even the brackets that hold the springs were rotted with ten pounds of undercoating sprayed on to mask the rust. At this point after diving in, I can honestly say I don't think they are honest with customers just making the sale at all costs. I think they cover up many problems with paint to make things look WAY better than they are. Make the sale and it's "Later Sucker". Even the fluids I drained out were jet black including the trans and transfer case which are normally Red. It's not a bad thing to flip a jeep but mine wasn't safe to be on the road the day I drove it home. Would not have passed inspection in any state. When going in for an oil change and the guy calls and says "You Better Come See This" Suprise!!!! Now I do blame myself and it's not easy to say that. I should have known better and looked deeper. But you would think a specialized higher-end used Jeep dealer would have been more upfront. I expected some issues but this jeep was almost too far gone. I now have a lot more $$ into it than it's worth just to make it drivable and safe. Not a pleasant feeling. With that said and after you read this YOU NOW KNOW BETTER dig deep and have it checked out. Don't get Jeep love blindness. See the photos below. This is after 400 miles of ownership. Good Luck and safe travels. ~BTB

Light bar that they took off then they told me the scrap guy took it really they blame the scrap guy lmao!!

Friendly, professional and very good at what they do. Especially after market installments. Very good pricing.

I brought my vehicle in specifically to address an electrical short affecting the air conditioning…read moresystem. I clearly explained the issue upfront, yet the shop proceeded with unrelated repairs that had nothing to do with the electrical system. Despite being contacted twice and assured that the problem had been resolved, the original issue remained completely unfixed when I picked up my vehicle. To make matters worse, I was told I needed a brand-new starter, when in fact the only issue was a missing bolt -- a basic oversight that raises serious questions about their diagnostic process and integrity. This experience strongly suggests either a lack of technical competence or intentional upselling of unnecessary repairs. I would caution others against trusting this establishment, and believe it warrants further investigation for questionable and potentially unethical business practices.

These guys are really honest. We were driving home from Rhode Island to Maryland when we hit…read moresomething on 95 and we heard a horrible metal on metal grinding sound. AAA recommended this Midas. We called and they promised to get us in today as they knew we were far from home. Once we got the car there, they were able to look at it and determined that just a backing plate got pushed out of place. Fixed it and we were on our way in 15 minutes. No charge. I'm positive most other garages would have charged us for something completely unnecessary. Like I said, these guys are honest. I don't live in CT so likely won't be back but if you live nearby, I'd give them a chance.
