She asked us questions about us, our journey and what we had in mind for our session. She is kind, gentle and so easy to talk to, she listens with intention and we really connected with her. Lisa has a great eye for detail and she highlighted the essence of our story perfectly. We truly love the way our photos turned out, they will be cherished for the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Lisa and Little Loo Photography to anyone looking to take maternity pictures or that of any other important moment you wish to capture because she will amaze you with her results.

Like most women, I wanted to do a maternity shoot during my pregnancy as that's all I knew of until I found Lisa's website. I saw her birthing photography/videography service and I was just so impressed and inspired. The clips that she had on her site gave me the feels. I reached out to her with some questions and she was a wonderful person to connect with. A few months later, I decided to go all in and invest in service. I wasn't sure what to expect but let's just say everything she has done has been way more than expected! During labor, I ended up in an emergency c-section because every time I had a contraction, my baby's heart rate couldn't be found or it dipped too low. Because of this, Lisa couldn't come into the OR even if I advocated for her to be there but she gave my bf her camera so that he can take pictures of what he could and he also captured audio of our baby boy crying when he finally entered the world! Since she wasn't able to get the whole birthing experience, she went an extra step and threw in Fresh 48 which ended up being taken about a month later as our son was in NICU. I was able to gather both my family and his family for an amazing photoshoot that probably would've never happened if she didn't offer this to us. The video she created with her shots and the stills was so amazing that it made me cry when I watched it and i watched it a lot! I will forever cherish this and am excited for others to see it especially my son when he is older. With the package, I also received a beautifully packaged printed photo album (card board thick and not photo paper) and a USB with all the media files. All in all, I am so happy that I went with Lisa. She is truly a talented and amazing person to work with. I think what sets her apart even more as a birthing photographer/videographer is that she was a labor nurse for 19 years so she KNOWS whats going on! I also appreciate her in that I was able to ask her some questions regarding my pregnancy in general because I didn't really have anyone to talk to as well as her telling me what's going on right before I was wheeled into the OR. I didn't even know I was going to have a c-section so I am thankful for her lol!! If you had to choose between a maternity shoot or the birthing photography/videography if you have a tight budget like me, I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest investing in the birthing photography/videography service. If you want to do maternity as well, she also has a package where it's discounted if you had multiple services you wanted. Definitely check her out. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Her years of experience, professionalism , beautiful workspace, and fun-loving personality all came together to create a comfortable and safe and exciting environment where you feel your best. As a result of all that you end up with the most beautiful collection of photos. And of course her I have to give a shout out to her amazing assistant/husband Hedley. They have a fun dynamic and together come up with the coolest shots. What drew me to her was her style-edgy, artistic, and creative compositions. If you're not looking for that type of photoshoot fear not, she can do any and all styles! I was so in love with her work that I ordered one of her custom collages and a photo book. She and her team are incredibly responsive- whether it be helping you to select the best photos for the album, reviewing swatch finishes for the cover, or going through the layouts for each spread to maximize the beauty of each photo. And then there's the collage. Her collages are so cool. Every one is unique to the client and she wants to make sure you LOVE it. We went through a few different iterations and the final result was perfection. I highly recommend Cherie if you are considering a boudoir shoot. You will not regret it.

Let me preface this by saying that I used to photograph weddings and family portraits so I knew…read morewhat to look for in a newborn photographer who is experienced and excels in their niche. After a brief search on Google for newborn photos, we stumbled upon BlushBaby.com. Just based on their website, it's evident that they invest in the business and provides quality services. After filling out the online service request form, I received a response I think later that day. Jennifer has a small studio locally here in Vegas so that checked off that box for us. We were sent package pricing information and we didn't even bother to do a zoom call prior to find if we were the right fit because her work speaks for itself! Take it from me, if a newborn photographer is willing to pay for a studio space, a pretty damn nice website and provides all the props/outfits, they're invested and you're going to get quality photographs of your little nuggets! Our little one caught a cold from her older sister and we had to reschedule. Jenn was very understanding and pushing out a week later wasn't an issue. After finding her studio IG page, I found out that she and her husband were from Hawaii; bonus points!! Located around LAS airport, we arrived to a slightly warm studio but nothing unbearable. Our daughter being a little over a month old did not stay asleep as long as a brand spanking new newborn but that didn't matter to Jenn. This is where the experience kicks in! Working around baby in and out of sleep, Jenn and her assistant knew techniques to get baby asleep and started snapped images. The photo session lasted around 2.5 hours which is what we expected. There's a small seating area to wait while your baby is being photographed and you can glance at sample photo books imagining what your little one will look like in certain poses. Within a week, Jenn scheduled a zoom meeting so we could preview the images and place an order. We ended up ordering a package and we absolutely love the images. Having a background in photography, I did a DIY photoshoot with our first daughter and while there were a handful of images that came out great, they are not as amazing as the images Jenn took of our 2nd child. Their location is now by the LAS airport so the address listed on this Yelp page is likely their old location. I would highly recommend Blush Baby and we would certainly seek her out for future business such as family photos!

We're from the SF Bay Area, but we love traveling to Las Vegas for quick getaways, and over the…read moreyears it has become our favorite destination--it's relatively close, there are always great deals for flights and accommodations, and we always have a blast. So last summer, once I had finally gotten my act together and decided that it was finally time to propose to my girlfriend, I knew that that I wanted the proposal to happen in Vegas. I also knew that I wanted to have the moment captured in photos. Once I convinced my then-girlfriend--spoiler, she said yes--to take an impromptu trip to Vegas (it didn't take much convincing), I decided to propose on our first night there, so I began scouring the web and various wedding websites to try and find a photographer to capture the proposal. It proved to be a bit challenging--while there are many photographers in the greater Las Vegas area, not many advertise proposal photography since it doesn't seem to be as common as couples/engagement sessions. Luckily, I came upon The Emerics website and decided to contact them, and I am so thankful that I did. After completing the contact form and requesting a quote on their website, Jessie emailed me back right away, confirmed her availability, and immediately provided some thoughtful suggestions and info. She also offered to schedule a time for us to chat on the phone. I had many, many questions--and at that point I did not have a proposal location picked out--so I took her up on the phone call the next day. From our first conversation, it was like talking to an old friend--she was so nice, provided tons of great suggestions for locations and tips for how to pull it off, and was equally enthusiastic about the proposal and the chance to capture the special moment for us. I had about 4 or 5 locations that I had been considering, and she gave me honest feedback about all of them. Pros, cons, the best areas, areas that were off limits, typical foot traffic, best lighting conditions--basically, all the stuff that I needed to know to make a good decision. But I appreciated that she was 100% committed to capturing the moment for me, whatever and wherever I decided. I went ahead and booked Jessie that day, though I asked for a few weeks to think about the location before finalizing it. She was nice enough to send me a few sample photos that she had taken at some of the prospective locations, and was patient with me as I sent diagrams (yes, diagrams) of some of the possible locations, and contingency plans in case the areas were unavailable (I'm not crazy, you are!) In the end, I decided on an area that she had suggested--right on the Strip along the Venetian outdoor gondola area, with a great backdrop of the Venetian "lake", gondolas and the Venetian façade, yet relatively quiet in terms of foot traffic. It was perfect. We exchanged a few more emails and texts in the days, hours and even minutes leading up to the proposal itself. We didn't actually meet or greet each other in person until immediately after the proposal had taken place, but again, it was like meeting an old friend. And that, for me, was the best part of the experience; she wasn't just a photographer, or just someone on a gig; instead, she was a partner in crime, who had very much been involved in the planning of this special moment and who was very much invested in it as well. She truly went above and beyond--she was like a photographer/coordinator/buddy all in one. My fiancée and I were both in a daze (albeit a very happy one) after the proposal, but Jessie hung around and we ended up having an impromptu engagement photo session right then and there. She really did an excellent job--the proposal and engagement photos really captured the emotions that we were feeling at the time. I'm not embarrassed to say that we look at the photos often, and they always result in a smile because they transport us back to that day and those moments. We put the photos into heavy rotation as well--save the dates, our engagement party, our wedding website--and constantly receive compliments about them. We may have even blown one up and placed it on our wall :) I cannot say enough about Jessie and The Emerics. Booking them was easily one of the best decisions I have made. If you are looking for a photographer in the Vegas area (or not--they travel too), whatever your occasion or event is, book them--you will not regret the photos or the experience that they provide.
