It is basically chopped potatoes mixed with eggs mixture while the traditional version is layered thinly sliced potatoes with an egg mixture poured over it without destroying the layers. So 3 out of 5 for Spanish omelette. Chicken home made pate was very dry and lacked spices, had very strong liver smell. It was served with dry pieces of rye bread, no butter -3.5 stars out of 5. Spicy chorizo were basically cut slices of chorizo -5/5 but the stars go to the manufacture of chorizo, the restaurant only cut it. I would come back only if it is on my way and will stick to bear and olives. The service was excellent though (6 stars out of 5), staff spoke English, the restaurant and its restrooms were very clean, staff wore masks.

Both the burger and filet came with a side. I decided to keep the fries (the default) while my sister picked grilled veggies. We also ordered a salad (8€) which was pretty generous in size. Before the meal, we were given bread, olives, some type of delicious creamy spread, and some chimichurri sauce. The olives were outstanding! By the end of the meal, we were too full for dessert, but I do recall seeing a few interesting offerings. Since it was a Friday night, I had called ahead to make a reservation, but turns out there were a fair number of seats available in the downstairs area. The first evening we ordered the sea bass, cooked mallorcan style. The menu said it was for two people, but the dish would easily be enough for three persons. Non the least it was amazing! Second day we ordered paella. For me, this was the first time I eat paella in Spain (have tried it once in Norway, which hardly counts..) and in my opinion it was truly incredible here at the bodega! The waiter recommended a local red wine, Macia Batle from 2010 and it suited perfectly to the paella. The third and last day we ordered tapas. Potatoes with some sort of sauce on, meatballs, garlic shrimps, serrano ham, chorizos and chicken croquettes. If I would remove one dish it would be the chicken. It was okay, but that's all. The serrano ham was heavenly! They have a lot of them air drying in the ceiling in the restaurant and the rest of the interior makes the visit feel like you truly are in Spain, and not in a heavy trafficked tourist village. We got a local red vine to the tapas as well, but I can't remember the name of it. But it was spot on to the tapas, as the wine we got to the paella were. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service is first class. It costs a bit more than the restaurants down on the beach, but you really get true value for the money!

We were a family of 12 walking around Palma looking for a place to eat, and unfortunately this…read moreturned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. When we first arrived, we asked for a table for 12, and were told it wasn't possible--even though the restaurant was half empty. We even offered to split into two tables of 6, but were still turned away. We tried again by having our Spanish speaker ask separately, and a different waiter agreed to seat the group. As soon as we all walked in and sat down, the same staff member who had denied us became visibly upset and, in a very sassy tone, said "those are the same 12." She then told us we had to sit in the back if we wanted to stay together, so we moved. Moments later, she changed her mind again, insisting that because we had a baby, part of the group would still need to sit separately. At that point, it was clear they simply didn't want our service, no matter how flexible we tried to be. After being shuffled around and treated so rudely, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing and, frankly, felt discriminatory. Families and larger groups should be aware before coming here.
