Said open online...drove two hours-got there and it was closed. No stars wasn't an option.

Open for dine-in, open until 10PM on Sundays…read more They are all out of chicken today, except for the chicken wings. No hummus either. We ordered a large Fattoush salad, no pita, small turshi, two lentil soups, falafel plate (comes with 8) and a beef kafta. We were given lots of lemons for our lentil soup, which is good on its own, even better with the fresh lemon juice. We also were given a sample of the hummus or lamb broth soup with chick peas in it, it wasn't bad. The lamb broth warms you up nicely. The turshi is nicely pickled and flavorful too. All of the veggies are super crunchy too. The pita wasn't my favorite, wasn't hot out of the oven fresh. It was store bought, no space here to bake their own pita. Have seen and bought these diamond shaped pitas at middle eastern grocery stores before. The beef kafta was super moist and juicy, nicely seasoned too. They are shaped like little patties here. The Fattoush salad is nice and fresh, added some sumac to taste the way I prefer to eat it. The falafel are super crunchy on the outside but perfectly moist inside and quite good. The sauce for the falafel is tart, good stuff. The bean soup in the tomato soup is quite good, simple, yet good. The tomato soup base is quite comforting. Some grilled cheese would go fantastically with this tasty tomato soup. We closed our meal with some Arabic tea. It's not bad. The food was all yummy, the bread could use some work. The service here was good as well.

I really wanted to love this place but it doesn't seem to work for me (at least not for a carry out…read moreorder). 1. My grilled fish fillet platter said that it would have 3 fish fillet skewers. I thought that these would match the menu pictures (see https://alizseafoodhouse.com/storage/2023/09/Alisz-Dine-in-Menu-9-25-2023_r.pdf). I specified that I wanted the marinated skewers. Instead, I got 3 long fillets that were overly spiced for my taste. 2. The person taking my order asked if I wanted white or brown rice with my platter. I asked for brown, thrilled that they would have it. I got white rice that was brown colored due to spicing. There was a huge amount of it, too. 3. My salads leaked in their bags because they were packaged poorly. 4. The fattoush salad dressing was way sweeter than any I've ever had. It was almost like candy, not what I was looking for. 5. The fried cauliflower seemed greasy and had no tahini (a first). Notes to restaurant: - Please don't say that you are giving skewers on the platters unless they match your pictures (which they didn't). - Please don't call your seasoned rice brown. Brown rice is something different (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_rice?wprov=sfti1). - Consider letting people substitute sautéed vegetables for rice (some people are trying to cut out simple carbs). - Please package your carry-out salads not to leak. - You may want to mention the sweetness of your fattoush dressing since it differs from many others. - Include tahini with your cauliflower.

We have order at least twice a month since we were referred to kebab hunt by a friend about six…read moremonths ago. We originally had wonderful experiences until our last three orders. The first time they forgot the entire side of Rice, but shame on me for not checking your bag. The second time they quoted me 20 minutes on the phone and after we got to the restaurant and waited 35 minutes, she told me whoops, we lost your ticket. We wait 15 more minutes and even though I ordered kebab skewers, I was given weird thin grilled chicken breast with no vegetables. The other entrée was ice cold. We placed another order today, I even asked her to make sure it was correct because we've had two bad experiences back to back. Quoted 20 minutes, we get the food after 30 minutes and the entire sandwiches is wrong. So they remake the sandwich and give us french fries that are ice cold with the new sandwich. The lack of attention to detail for the cost of the items is just not worth it. Just disappointed overall... not sure what's happened there recently.

The chicken shawarma on the combo plates are drier than they used to be, and we order our meats medium. Our food hasn't been ready on time the past three times we've ordered from there. The worst was today, they told us 35 minutes and my husband is literally there still waiting, an hour after I called in our order. Please do better with your timing, we absolutely love your hummus and our friends and family always enjoy the food when we order from there.
