Patricia got to me quickly and had me and my car dropped off at the mechanics in less than 45 minutes. I was stranded on the side of the highway and she safely got me out of the car and into the tow-cab, while she hooked up my vehicle. My car is a sports car and low to the ground and she pulled out the planks to make sure that my car didn't scrape while pulling it up. I needed a simple tow job from a residence in Big Country (Marbach/1604) to Cavender Toyota at Bandera/410. The first service I called wanted a hefty fee $135 for the job--and would not be there for a couple of hours. Knowing this was too steep, I researched some more listings on Yahoo, and found A Alamo towing listed. I have passed this place located off the 410 access road many times so I knew it was at least close by. Dialed the number and Juan, the owner/proprietor answered. He stated he was available and quoted me a price of $75. I told him that was OK with me and in 20 minutes, he was at my door. Got the minivan up on the flatbed, and we were off. Delivered the vehicle to the dealership promptly, and paid him the fee in cash. So the bottom line: good service, good price. I would use the service again. read more
