I had repairs done a year ago when someone hit me, and he was thorough and did excellent work. This year, during a snowstorm, when a tree hit me (pesky trees jumping out and hitting our cars is a big problem in Central New York), I once again took it back knowing I'd have tremendous work done. I was not disappointed. Even a minor dent I put in the truck loading a hay bale was fixed (without me asking, or being charged) so that the truck looked like new. The cherry on top is the detailing they do to the inside of your vehicle - whether it was related to the damage done or not. It's like you're getting a brand new vehicle when you pull out of there. Mary Lou and the rest of the front counter staff are tremendously friendly, and keep you informed all along the way. As of 4/10 they have not reached out to me once to schedule or provide any updates. I've reached out to them numerous times with no clear response. I was initially drawn to them by the 5 star reviews, but trust me and go elsewhere for your repairs. Turns out Sprague's has been acquired by a private equity firm as of 1/31. I'm guessing that is the issue but either way, be warned that customer service is the last thing you will receive if you deal with this place.

Was told "Sorry, we're at 140% of capacity. We won't even start your car for two weeks." Was told that they're now making appointments for 6 weeks out. Got a pathetic, half-hearted "Sorry for wasting your time." As I walked out. I understand they may be over booked. I understand they may not know how to accommodate scheduled body work. They didn't realize this yesterday? Or a week ago? Wait for me to accommodate their drop off time, let me show up and then get told they have other, more important customers. They didn't realize the day before that they couldn't handle the work? I'd rather go to any other body shop that can respect my time than to ever step foot in a caliber collision EVER again!

Just a few days ago, I was on a very important trip in the Utica area of New York State, and on a…read moretight schedule. I had problem with a tire, I drove to Oriskany Garage, explained to the gentleman at the counter that I was on a tight schedule. It was lunchtime - most of their workers were on Lunch break, but the moment the first of their workers returned, he went to work on my car. Just a short while later, my tire was fixed, and they put my car up on a lift to make sure all the other tires were ok. I was able to maintain my schedule. All the employees were gentlemen. They took extra care to make sure all was well with my car..... attention to detail, which is found so rarely these days. Very well managed business..... and the price was SO reasonable. Big thanks to everyone there! They cared that I was "under pressure".... 5 stars!
