Over the years I've been prescribed many different prescriptions, seen numerous counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists that I lost count and began to lose hope. All the counseling sessions were the same thing and none of them registered or helped me to deal with my issues. That said, I do want to start by saying the knowledge and professionalism of the staff during both of my visits was phenomenal. My first experience was with Claudia for IPL. She walked me through everything -- what I would feel, what to expect, and even why she was adjusting certain settings on the machine. The treatment was clearly personalized for me. Her aftercare suggestions were fantastic, and although I knew the results would take time, it's only been about 1.5 months since my session and people have already started asking if I've had Botox or fillers. (The answer is yes, just not in the places you're raving about ;) ) Which leads me to my next review for Sona. Once again, extremely professional and knowledgeable. She performed a couple types of injections for me, and I truly appreciated that she respected my request to keep everything looking natural. She explained the process thoroughly and set clear expectations for the treatment. As someone who works in a branch of healthcare, that could appreciate hearing her the thought process. There was a purpose to every push of the plunger -- and I'm honestly in awe of the results. As we age, there are things that can sometimes get us down. I really felt that my usual doctor wasn't taking me seriously, and I really did NOT want to take all these weird medications with scary side effects. I chose Dr. Dacyshyn based on a combination of the services outlined on her website and a gut feeling :p I've seen her twice now, and she's really great! The first time was an hour-long consultation where I just got to say everything that was bothering me. I really felt like she listened, and she understood my problems really well. She knew I didn't have much money, and was very accommodating for that, keeping her prescriptions to a minimum and letting me know what was essential vs. just good to have. The things she prescribed me work like a charm- I stopped getting sick, have a lot more energy, my depression and anxiety have improved dramatically, and no side effects!
