Stopped in today to check nose piercing off my bucket list. There was a crowd, but Christina got to us quickly with the paperwork while the other group was still deciding. We waited just a few minutes while she finished up. She took us back, asked an few questions, and provided very thorough instructions to get started. She was detailed and very professional. I did as she instructed and didn't even feel a pinch. Just a little pressure. My eyes didn't even water. Super fast and efficient. I received more instructions before leaving too. I'm glad we came, she was very nice and there was another super nice lady that also checked on us as we waited. I'm elated with my new piercing and if I lived here, I'd probably come back for more. My husband and I took a vacation to Destin for the first time and he had already been looking at getting a cover up done and looked at numerous tattoo parlors in Destin before our trip and Alan's kept coming up on top so we chose this location. Robert worked until sometime after midnight drawing up the perfect piece to successfully cover up everything and it was a total success. I, myself, ended up getting another tattoo as well. This studio located on U.S. 98 in Destin, FL is a family owned and operated business. We were treated like family here by Andrew, out tattooist and Lisa, the receptionist. The studio is very clean and well organized. Each artist has their own room to provide their services. There are LOTS of samples to look through to help you choose the piece that is right for you. I had been wanting a tattoo for a while but didn't know where to go. My friend and I went to Alan's Cool Ink and they were amazing! The entire staff was very friendly and made it a great experience from the start. He was tattooing someone when we got there so we made the deposit with the older lady and she was so sweet. We made an appointment for an hour and half later. We left, came back, got the tattoo and I couldn't be more pleased!! The price was very reasonable for how small it is. If I could give Alan's Cool Ink more than five stars, I would! I recently went on vacation to Destin and wanted to get my cartilage pierced, but didn't know any shops around the area. I am so glad I found Alan's! I was a walk-in and the process was very quick and simple. I wish I could remember the lady's name who did my piercing, but she was so nice and very friendly. She made sure that the piercing was right where I wanted it before she pierced it, and when I showed any sign of doubt she would not commit unless I did. We stopped in to get directions to a karaoke place on a Wednesday night and spent some time talking to the staff. I had never gotten a tattoo before but it was something I had been toying with in the back of my mind. I came in the shop last night to get my very first tattoo. I started talking with Andrew and told him my idea that I had. The design he came up with was exactly what I wanted, so I was pretty stoked. I was in town for vacation and planned to have some work done as the location and time of year had personal significance to me. I was referred to the shop and after looking through some portfolios talked to Sandy. She looked at my sketched ideas and drew out a tattoo blueprint that was exactly what I was looking for. The piercer (I forgot her name unfortunately) was amazing! She made me feel very comfortable while getting my nipples pierced. The pain was minimum thanks to her accuracy and speed! As someone with a lot of piercings I have met many piercers and can truthfully say she was the best I had ever experienced. Nipple piercings are very scary considering that it is such an important part of your body, but she showed confidence in her work and completely knew what she was doing. read more

As soon as me and my cousin walked in, Andrew welcomed us and even though he was already working on a client he told us to come to him to discuss what we were wanting. Went in Thursday and made an appointment for Friday, the artist and I discussed the tattoo and placement and within the next day I was back getting the tattoo! I got a piercing with a dude named structure- and it went great! Everything was clean, they use internally threaded and titanium jewelry. (which i've heard is the better option) everyone was friendly and price was real good too. I will be going back again and would recommend to other new comers. his advise on how to clean and maintain my piecing was clear and i even got a printed set of instructions for it. overall 10/10 read more

Robert is only in town for the season, but he hooked us up and the rest of the staff was friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting good work at a decent price. He completed my tattoo and then spent an hour DRILLING color around my tattoo because he thought it would look cool. It was a beautiful piece but he completely screwed up my tattoo.
