The cashiers were helpful and scanned in a coupon for me when I showed them the screen. This store is huge and has two floors of just about everything. The mall has been kept alive by Boscov's all these years and it's a great place to shop. The mall, maybe not so much. At least there's free 3 hour validated parking in the underground garage with an elevator and escalator directly into the store.

I was getting different sizes/colors for my mom and grandmother in the fitting rooms and putting back clothes. I overheard remarks from one of your workers, and her also saying that we were spending so much time in the fitting rooms, were making a huge mess and leaving her to clean it up, and that we would not be able to afford everything we were getting. This was not only hurtful but entirely unfounded, as we were respectful customers and neatly put back everything we tried on. The worker's remarks were overheard by another individual, who said, "I don't care, at least they're spending money." While we appreciate the sentiment of valuing customers, it was disheartening to feel dismissed and devalued in such a manner. As loyal customers, we were taken aback by this behavior and felt deeply disheartened by the lack of professionalism displayed. We believe that every customer should be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the circumstances. We saw her side eyeing us and looking us up and down as we were being checked out, and she even had the audacity to come over to our cash register to try to hear the total. Thank you to the kind worker who was checking us out, for she realized what was happening and said our total quieter. I also wanted to say that I pay YOUR bills with the money I spend at your store. You should treat everyone with utmost respect, no matter what they spend, or how much money they have. The stuff here is absolutely amazing the first day that I came here I needed to get a cardigan for an upcoming trip to Washington DC when I arrived at the J.Crew a very friendly employee greeted me and asked me if she could help me I told her that I needed to purchase a cardigan for my trip and I cannot find any store around the area that has any cardigans in stock she told me that she didn't know if they had any cardigan stock but she was going to check for me. When I asked if they worked there and told them I had an appointment they said ok and proceeded to talk amongst themselves, offering no help or explanation! I waited 30 minutes for the seamstress to arrive late to my appointment! After my fitting, a few weeks went by and I hadn't heard back so I called the shop and I was told it had been done for weeks! Wtf?! When I picked up my dress the seamstress did not fix what I asked her to, after stating these were easy fixes. She said she made 1 of the 2 adjustments I had asked for (you could have fooled me) and claimed we never discussed the other adjustment. It gets worse, she also STAINED my dress in 3 spots and blamed me stating that it was my makeup (it was obviously not my makeup). I told her this and she argued with me claiming that if it wasn't my makeup it was probably my deodorant or body sweat and that she didn't even touch that area of the dress. Again wtf. She told me to hand wash it and it would be fine. It's a dry clean only dress that I brought to her brand new without stains! I told her I wasn't happy with her work and she told me the dress was not flattering and it was ugly. She continued to say that she doesn't understand why I bought the dress in the first place because it doesn't suit me and no amount of alterations would make it look nice. Honestly, what a b****. She then told me about a "fat" client of hers who bought the same dress and said it looked ugly on her too. They also only accept cash, although there are no signs stating that. If you guessed she had a rude remark to make about this as well, you'd be right! My dress cost $200 and I paid her $30 to stain it and "make alterations" (that let's be honest she did not make) and to be insulted. With her shitty attitude and poor sewing skills I don't know how she stays in business. If you want someone to degrade you, she's your gal. Otherwise you can accomplish the same outcome with the sewing skills of a toddler and some kind of staining agent. 0/5 stars
