Absolutely divine! This really is the best Indian food I have ever had! So good in fact that the…read moremere thought of the place sends my taste-buds into ecstatic celebration! The staff are really friendly and they always throw in freebies with our order - always! The Jaipuri Chicken is my favourite dish! Big succulent pieces of chicken breast smothered in a thick sweet and spicy mushroom and onion sauce. The chicken melts in your mouth and the sauce is the most wonderful flavour. The Malai Kofta is a very yummy vegetarian dish, spicy balls made from a combination of potato and paneer (Indian cheese) and coated in a mild, creamy curry sauce with cashew nuts and yoghurt. The kofta balls absorb all the flavour of the rich sauce - like nothing I have ever experienced in the culinary world. Do eat at Nameste - even if you have to make a special trip to the Northside. I promise you won't regret it. The food here is superb and the service is great, but the best thing about Nameste is... they deliver to my house!

It varies from Gen-Y flavoured disinterest to abrupt and borderline rude, as though placing an order for a meal is a major inconvenience. Maybe a little training is required here? You can safely add fifteen minutes to quoted pick up times as a general rule. Luckily the food is lovely!

Five of us came here for dinner and two of us came early and they came by and served us water while we waited for the rest of our party. 3 of us ordered the Dhaba Special with butter chicken, lamb korma, and the chicken jalfrezi while the other two ladies ordered the chicken tikka masala and the fish madras. We all asked for spicy and the only one that was slightly spicy was the lamb korma which ended up being my favorite! With the Dhaba Special ($30 with minimum 2 people), you will also receive a small serving of chicken tikka and a vegetable spring roll as well as raita with several dips before your main comes. Come hungry because we already starting to get filled up but we persevered. The waitress was nice and asked us if we were ready for our mains before bringing them out. They brought out our rice in adorable bowl/cup. The curry was delicious, especially the lamb. Flavors were excellent with the almonds and spice. The butter chicken was a little sweet and then the chicken jalfrezi came with onions and capsicum was very tasty. The naan wasn't my favorite. It wasn't a little too thin for my taste. I am spoiled by traveling to India and living in Japan (yes, Japan has great Indian food!!). We were stuffed and couldn't finish all our food. Service was pretty nice. It was a bit cold and the door kept being left open by departing customers. After my friend got up from her seat and closed it five times, they started making sure the door stayed closed. They took all our food off our plate and didn't ask us if we wanted to take any home. You can BYO Wine for a $5 (per bottle) corkage fee. Great location in West End and would definitely go back.

However, I have been to many Indian restaurants in other parts of the world, including the area of London famous for Indian food, so I believe my opinion can be trusted. And my opinion is that this is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, a great atmosphere and wonderful service. I went with one of my friends who only likes Butter Chicken, so that is what we had, along with Naan Bread. Butter Chicken is always fantastic, and it was in this instance as well. It was a very enjoyable evening; I really have only good things to say about this place. The meals are moderately priced, around $20 for a dish. They offer excellently valued lunch specials so if you're lucky enough to be able to escape the office for a relaxed midday break, this is a great place to go.
