Visited Alberello Pizzeria for the first time a few nights ago and I'm surprised more people don't know about it. They offer dine in, patio seating, takeout and delivery. They specialize in pizzas, pastas, paninis, and salads. What I liked about this restaurant was that they offered pizzas with topping combinations that you can't generally find in pizza chains. We tried: Ortaggio $22.95 Verde Noce $23.95 The verde noce was unique and, to my surprise, I actually liked it. It's their award winning pizza and it has Shredded Mozzarella, Oyster Mushroom Sauteed in Garlic Oil, Roasted Red Pepper, Caramelized Onion, Walnut, Pesto Sauce & Goat Cheese & Fresh Basil. Rating: 10/10 The ortaggio wasn't anything special. It had Marinara Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Itallian Mortadella, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Fresh Bell Pepper, Red Onion & Kalamata Olive. Rating: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Environment: 8/10

As the lovely server says "Enjoy your beautiful pizza" Beautiful and Delicious it is!

Van This place truly never disappoints. Always delicious!! ALWAYS The Caesar salad (yes I know Caesar salads are stuck in the 80s) Is possibly the best ever!! Pizzas are always hot and delicious and truly a work of art. Admittedly, have never got past the pizza menu to try the pastas, but I am certain they are equally as delicious. Only pet peeve, like many restaurants, to survive, they have to put up with those pesky delivery drivers, like rats hanging around the garbage can. Nobody loves these guys running around the restaurant causing havoc....grrrr

This is what my pizza looked like when I opened the box

Ordered pizza and lasagne for delivery. See my photo for what the pizza looked like when it arrived. It was also lukewarm and soggy, lacking in flavour, and they put olives on it when I specifically requested no olives. I was starving, and could barely choke back half of it. It really was gross. Husband's lasagne was in his words, "thoroughly mediocre." This is a do not repeat. Should have ordered from Panago. At least they produce a consistent product, and it shows up still hot.

This pizza would make my list of pizza places I'd recommend. You want delicious, tasty pizza? Go here! Service was great, the location was great, and the pizza was amazing! My partner and I both ordered one each, and we had a couple slices left to take home. I ordered a (Jesus I can't remember what it was called) salami, artichoke heart, olives pizza, and my partner ordered the (gawd, what was it called?) vegetarian pizza that had walnuts, caramelized onion, feta, fancy mushrooms, tomato, and both pizzas were amazing. I feel like running to the fridge right now for those left over slices, but I'm in bed. You want great pizza? Go here!

Went here for dinner tonight for the first time. I'll definitely be coming back. Food tasted home made and fresh and the Nutella pizza for dessert was so good! You can tell this is a family run joint and they really care about your experience. I've seen this location turn over many times but I hope this place is here to stay!

    Verde Noce

Was a great find for us, we went there after reading some reviews here, and when we got there, the most famous pizza is the Verde Noce (means Green Night in Italian). It was amazing! The combination of the flavours in this pizza is just unbelievable. Went there a couple of times and the Verde Noce is always amazing! I keep trying to change to another pizza, but still didn't manage that yet! :-) For dessert we try the Nutella Pizza, and OMG, another excellent Pizza! The service was also pretty good! So for me and wife it is a 5 Star! Cheers and Bon Appetite!

Service is exceptional except the main dish took a long time. When they realized we didn't drink much wine they offered to substitute other drinks and wine samplers. We did the set menu which included bruschettas, salad main and dessert. - the bruschettas are spectacular per name of restaurant. So many things come with them. Mine the salmon and tomatoes and bell pepper all went so well together with the toast, and the avocado and lettuce too. - caprese salad was top notch. Tomatoes are soo fresh and good. So was the burrata. - the Caesar salad was mustardy and had a very weird taste. - the porchetta took a long time but was worth it. Really tender and wonderful taste and texture, and the pasta was fresh and really tasty. What a spectacular set menu and place to celebrate special occasions!

Great Italian food in North Vancouver. They have a great menu of antipasto, pizzas, and pastas…read more (They also have a test kitchen going on, which is fun and the menu looked wonderful!) We tried the pizza today, but perhaps we'll come back for some pasta or the sandwich (on the test kitchen menu). The pizzas were WONDERFUL! We've been to Italy a few times, mostly familiar with Neapolitan food, and this definitely is the closest I've come to my Italian pizza since being back in Canada. Fresh, quality ingredients and a crispy, thin crust. Perfection! The prosciutto was buttery and rich, the greens all fresh, the tomato sauce *chef's kiss*! I recommend the Prosciutto crisp and arugula pizza. The staff was very kind and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant was clean and a very convenient location. Someone said it was hard to get a table, but we went for a late lunch and had no problem, so I suppose the time matters. (Lunch rush in this area is busy everywhere.) Overall, I will return and would recommend!

This place has been around for ages I'm sure, but for some reason we never got around to trying it until now. We ordered: Caesar Salad Prawns Alla Livornese Margherita Pizza Eggplant Parmesan The Margherita pizza had these huge, round slices of tomato on top. Wasn't too crazy about it being served this way. It was kind of "meh." Everything else on the table was fantastic. The Prawns Alla Livornese was so flavorful, and if I wasn't already a fan of Eggplant Parmesan before stepping into this restaurant, then I was definitely a fan after trying this Eggplant Parmesan! There was live music when we went. We really enjoyed this. Love the vibes at this place!

It was lunch and I've been following a keto diet so I decided on the caprese salad and the meatballs. Michael ordered the calamari and a mushroom and double anchovy pizza. Gag! Anchovies are bad enough but double!! Lol The caprese was delish and the balsamic glaze was perfect. And the meatballs! We split them and they were smothered in the most delicious tomato sauce. Ended up taking a bit of both home. We devoured most of the calamari - it had a different tomato sauce for dipping that was equally yummy. I went against everything I believe in and tried a piece of the pizza. Neopolitan style I believe. Thin crust and cooked to perfection. And I loved it - anchovies and all. Our server was Helen and she was great. We appreciated that she wore her mask. Good sense of humour and really nice. I would give Palermo 5 stars just for service. Double bonus that the food was great too. Super reasonably priced and they even had a promotion that we got to keep our strong bow glasses. Served on ice with lime - just the way I like it! Excuse the pictures - I accidentally used a weird filter without realizing it....
