stayed here for a month. wonderful location which is right next to the beach in the vacation town…read moreof pinetamare. used to have a waterpark and other attractions but that died out fast. my favorite pizza shop is around the corner from here. tiny little place but the bombest margherita pizzas for dirt cheap. dont ask for a pepperoni because all youll get on your shit is peppers... theres a theater and restaurant and a decrepit parking garage at your disposal. one of my first memories was hearing a high speed chase come thru the porte cochere. when we went outside we saw a burning something on the hood of a fiat. both cars took off. it was assumed the car being followed drove by begging for help and the car giving chase tried to throw an improvised explosive device at/on the fleeing car which ended up on said fiat. that device exploded. im pretty sure the emergency responders showed up an hour or two later. car was incinerated. nobody did shit. another vocab lesson for those new to southern italy.. domani.. which means tomorrow.. welcome to naples

I have been staying at the Fagiano (and a few stays at the Miramare- same owner) for over 16 years…read more It had been a few years since my last visit/trip to Italy and I returned this time for a 3 day stop on my Italian honeymoon. I wasn't sure what to expect (this being my honeymoon) but my wife and I couldn't have been happier with our stay! For ease of review, I'm going to list my comments below. 1. The staff - The staff at the Fagiano are honestly the nicest, most courteous, professional, and respectful of any hotel staff I have ever encountered. My wife couldn't believe the service we received (which was so unfamiliar to her as an American) that she didn't want to leave on our last day. We've stayed at hotels in Chicago, NYC, Rome, Paris, etc that cost almost four times as much but their service from front desk to dinner table couldn't even hope to compare. 2. Special requests - Being familiar with the hotel I had requested through my booking.com reservation a room on the second floor terrace. Not only was this request able to be fulfilled, but I was also contacted via email from the hotel to let me know the status of my request. The second floor of the hotel faces the Sea and these rooms have a huge terrace where one can sit and drink wine, eat Gaeta olives, and Italian cheese while watching the sun set. In a country filled with amazing views (and my wife loved the views from Assisi, Orvieto, Cinque Terra, Ravello) the view from your second floor terrace at the Fagiano rivals/beats them all. 3. Cleanliness - the hotel staff did an excellent job cleaning our room each day. The floors were always clean of any sand we might have carried in and we never wanted to fresh towels. To summarize, I highly recommend the Fagiano to anyone visiting this part of Italy. I use yelp and trip advisor all the time during my travels and this is my first review that I have felt I needed to write (My experience was that good)!

I stayed here with my family for only 1 night back in August of 2025 due to a needed place to stay just for 1 day on our way to Positano. The staff here is very nice, room was clean and had air conditioning. There's plenty of self parking and there are shops and restaurants within few minutes of driving. The hotel also has a restaurant but we didn't get a chance to try it. We did get breakfast here which was a small charge of 7€ and the entire breakfast spread was very nice. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Our room looked out over the water and had a massive balcony, nice to fall asleep to the waves. The pool area is fantastic with a massive pool, very well kept!! There is one guy working in reception, who was made for hospitality. Kind, polite, professional, multi-lingual and very helpful. The beds are not the softest, the rooms are not modern, it feels like you're walking into a flashback from the 90's perhaps. But the prices reflect this so it's all good. The pool and waterfront location make it a steal, really! The location is convenient, you can walk to the harbor where you find many restaurants and the best little ice cream shop!! Big yes for me!
