He initially communicated by texting my brother about attending a session on Sunday, May 25 and we would do it back-to-back. We were told only "premium" options were available, but we were doing it back-to-back and that payment could be made on the day of the 2-hour class, which was fine. My brother texted Adi saying he would let me know about the change only that day. the day after, around 10 PM, Adi texted my brother saying the slot had to be paid for immediately or it wouldn't be held. My brother has an irregular work schedule and wasn't able to respond right away or even tell me this. I then personally texted Adi today asking if it would be possible to move my session to Saturday instead. Rather than addressing my request, he focused on how he messaged my brother and told me that all the Sunday slots had been filled without ever informing me that this was happening or that my own slot was at risk. He then told me I should "fix my communication with my brother," even though Adi never once messaged me that my individual reservation would be affected by my brother not replying. When I expressed my frustration about waiting an entire week for this practice session only to have it taken without notice, he claimed I was being "disrespectful" on the phone, when I was simply upset and disappointed. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Clear communication and basic courtesy are essential, and this company showed neither.

I went to Archer's after I went to ONS driving school. It was a big difference! I learn more in 2…read morehours with archers than i did in my 10 hours with ons. I was pretty nervous when i started but Don made me feel relaxed and also there was no other student in the car like the other place, i spent the full lessons by myself and that really help me be more relax. After i went to ons i failed my road test 3 times and then i went to archers and by the end of my first lesson i totally understood why i failed and decided to take 2 more lessons. Onmy second lesson, i learned an easy trick for paralell parking and hill parking that made sense to me and now i can park confidently. On my last lesson they taught me how to judge if i could go on left turns. I was really nervous about that but they show me how to know how far the cars are by counting light post and i'm not scared to go anymore. After I learned with archers i went back to the registry and passed my test easily. The examiner told me it was like night and day how much my driving improved and when i told him i went to archers he said that he wasn't suprised because thats where he said he was sending his grand daughter when she would be old enough to drive. I took my driver education at AMA, and although I am pretty sure it was pricey, I think it was well worth it. The teacher is super easy to understand and he made the topics interesting and sometimes funny. I would recommend that people looking into driver training at least check the website. I was told they were booking into late april and early may. Fine book me in. I got my schedule March 13th for May. I HAD 4 LESONS BOOKED. when I texted him back twice and tried calling to see if I could get more lessons for may and to book me into June .I recieved no answer until the night before my first lesson May 8th. He told me we would look at the schedule and see what he could do. When I arrived for my first lesson he was 20 mins late( I tried texting and phoning - he responded after 15 mins saying he would be there shortly,) not a good first impression- then when I asked about more lessons - showing him the texts I sent he told me he's booking into AUGUST. I called AMA to let them know what as going on and was told a supervisor would call me back( that was SATURDAY MAY 09TH). when no one called me back by THURSDAY MAY 14th I called back again. I was told supervisor "Ali" was aware and would contact me ' hopefully that day. We'll its Friday May 15th and I called again but "supervisor Ali" was of course on another line and would call me back. I said I could stay on hold but was told I cant be tying up their phone lines. They were quick to take my money $1600 for the ultimate package but not helpful in finding a solution. Im not from Edmonton- i just wanna get my lessons in ( a timely manner) and then go back to my hometown. UPDATE: after writing this review Ama reached out and I spoke with "ALI" who assured me both on telephone and email that she would get back to me( I am out of the office on Tuesday but will check in with you no later than Wednesday, May 20, if not before.- her words from email. ) GUESS WHAT!!! I tried other driving schools before, but after 10 hours in the car, I ended up being more scared to drive. But Park Driving School was different. It was because of my instructor's (Ash) commitment to teaching me to become a safe and good driver, which like a spell, he would recite every session. It was a lot of hard work and stress. Several times, I wanted to give up. But Ash would not let me. After more hard work, I passed the road test. At my age and situation, it's such a great accomplishment. I guess, the spell also worked ;). I know this is just the beginning of a new life and I need to work harder and practice more driving. But, I would not be here without Park Driving School. It was scheduled over a full weekend Saturday & Sunday. The classes were to be 9-4 or 5pm. I can't honestly remember the end time. Upon starting the class the students were informed that they were waiting on a student who was going to be late. The instructor did not start the course until they arrived 30 minutes later. Upon that time I was advised that the teacher was constantly on his phone texting and was actually asked by a student who was on his phone as it was taking away from there lesson. They were advised it was his girlfriend. This continued throughout the entire day, followed by two 20 min coffee breaks and an hour lunch and the class was let out one hour before the end time! I feel this is not appropriate for the amount of money paid. After completing the weekend classroom course it took 3 weeks to get an in car lesson. The instructor was so confused he kept texting throughout the weeks to the student to say he was on his way when they didn't have an appointment or to reschedule. It seemed very disorganized. All 7 in car lessons were completed but again I was advised that the driving instructor was on his phone texting during the in car lessons instead of focusing on the students driving. I feel this is completely unacceptable behaviour and not safe! There was no lesson plans or documents while they were driving or a guided structure guideline to follow. Please put your son or daughter in AMA. It costs a little more money, but for there safety and driving experience it is worth it!
