I recently bought three small houseplants from Golden Acres. They repotted them for me and…read moreeverything seemed fine. Shortly after I noticed two of them had bugs on them. All other plants in my home were healthy and bug free so I returned the infected ones to Golden Acres and asked for them to be replaced. But it had been about a month since my purchase and I had seen to reason to keep my receipt as all appeared to be good. The woman in the potting department recognized me and remembered me buying the plants but because I never had a receipt or proof of purchase she and the manager would not replace the two infected plants despite the fact she remembered my purchase. In the past we had spent hundreds of dollars there, a fountain, annuals, shrubs and much much more Had been purchased. They gave up a repeat customer whom they knew had bought the infected plants worth a measly $7.99 each for a piece of paper. I will not be returning there.

She was attentive and all ears as I told her our beautiful Canadel table was still not closing properly. She gave me Ron the Warehouse Managers direct number which I called the next day. We talked and I sent him our receipts and photo of the Canadel sticker under the table. He sent Jee to our home and by yesterday it was fixed! Jee had to come back with another young man, so this was a two day adventure BTW. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! As new owners, I feared you'd tell me sorry, but no, you did not. This table was bought Nov. 2019, and the previous owners sent someone out May 2022, leaving replacement rails in case what he did didn't fix it. Now hopefully it has been rectified properly. I will feel very comfortable shopping at Cricklewood in future, as they are amazing all around! Thank you so much!

Beware of this store!!!…read more I visited the Richmond Daniadown shortly before Christmas 2011, in search of a new duvet. The store was very messy (perhaps because of the Christmas rush) and there was only one salesperson trying to assist several customers at the same time. I waited for 20 minutes, and when she finally came over to help me, she was very rude and tried to pressure me to purchase the most expensive duvet in the store. I elected to buy a "3 in 1" wool duvet instead, and I could tell that my decision irritated her - perhaps she was disappointed because the commission would not be as high? The duvet itself is clearly of an inferior quality (almost all of the products in this store are made in China). It has a terrible smell and fell apart after one cycle (gentle) in the washing machine. A major reason I purchased this particular duvet was because it was supposedly "Machine Washable". When I called the store to inquire about a repair/exchange/refund for the duvet, I was curtly informed that all duvet products are "Final Sale". The salesperson also stated in a very condescending manner that I had "obviously" washed the duvet incorrectly and thus caused it to fall apart. I tried to move up the ladder and speak to the division manager, but he was also incredibly rude and seemed more concerned about defending the duvet than providing customer service. I am 60+ years old, and he spoke to me like a child. All in all, my experience with both the duvet itself and the customer service at this store was horrendous. My only recommendation is to stay far, far away!!

I was on the hunt for a 1/4" driver bit that was at least 6" long. I went to a few of the big box…read morestores with no luck and after an attempt at the Dewalt Factory store they suggested I try here. Success! I found the bit I needed, for much cheaper I might add, and a little more. I've driven past the store before and never realized the selection they have here. They have the full line of major power tool brands like Dewalt and Bosch, a few aisles of all the accessories, plus many other things like caulking, ladders, safety apparel, and of course, fasteners. I will definitely be coming back here more regularly in the future.

I ordered online for click & collect…read more I've picked up with Click & Collect now from both stores in Edmonton and Calgary, I'm a fan. Super slick Click & Collect ordering system - received confirmation email, arrived at my selected pickup time. Pulled into a spot, texted the posted phone number with the spot I was parked in, my order number, name and vehicle description. Staff were all wearing PPE, masks, and they wheeled out my order and dropped the cart behind my vehicle. I loaded up and headed out. There is one parcel that looks like it had some forklift damage, but I'm not worried - it's wood and I can sand whatever dents down. I have no delusions of going in the store, waiting for any kind of line-up, or return. I'm staying safe at home, and hoping that my efforts keep the staff safe and available for everyone.
