Last week, after searching for outdoor camping and sport businesses in Alberta, I found Valhalla Pure Outfitters. To my utter joy, I found the exact shoes I had sought and in the colour I wanted, on their website. I called the Red Deer store but found they were out of stock so ordered online after contacting the BC store and asking them not to release one pair until I completed the online order. Guess what? I ordered the shoes and got the very last pair! Amazing! And they are gorgeous. I have the hiking boots and now the hiking shoes. You guys are awesome and you are local!!! Went to play it again sports with my two daughters (aged 5 and 7) to find some used skates. Neither…read moreof them have really skates before. We were promptly greeted and asked how we could be assisted. Not only did one young gentlemen assist, two did. One for each girl. They were knowledgeable in how the skate should fit (which is great, because I really know nothing about skates and how they should fit kids). We got the skates we needed and also got to meet the shop dog "Alfie". The girls got to give him treats and pets while we waited for their skates to be sharpened. It was a quick and easy visit for myself, so that made things all the more pleasant. Will be coming back for sure!
