I had a few items to sell, and from my very first visit, I could tell I was dealing with someone who is honest, respectful, and genuinely kind. What really impressed me was when I found an old gold ring I no longer needed. I arrived at 5:58 p.m., just two minutes before closing. The door was already locked, but he saw me, came to the door, and took the time to help me anyway. He never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing him. I honestly thought I might get around $30 for the ring. When he offered me $230, I was absolutely floored! I'd heard people say Gold King pays some of the best prices around, and now I know it's true. One thing I really appreciate is that he's extremely knowledgeable. He clearly knows his business and takes pride in what he does. He's fair, honest, and respectful, but he's also experienced and knows the value of what he's buying and selling. That gave me a lot of confidence that I was dealing with someone who truly knows his craft. They also have a gaming store right next door, which my son enjoyed checking out. It has never given me any issues. Recently, we paid a couple of visits to sell some odds and ends just to make a few bucks. I honestly was a bit skeptical because usually pawn shops are pretty picky when it comes to buying items... But so far, this is the ONLY pawn shop in the area that doesn't rip you off. They give you your money's worth, and usually give you what you're asking. If not, they make an amazing deal with you. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and understanding. I'm so glad we made the choice to sell to Hickory Pawn! I'm not the only person extremely satisfied though, my husband, my aunt, my mother in law, and my dad all FOUR love this pawn shop!

WHAT THE F***! Now it was worth $300 and I thought I was going to come unglued! After pawning a different Ruger single six for the 300 I needed to start with, wasn't going to let them steal my Peacemaker! I asked exactly what it would take to get it back. I was told $315.00 TOLD HIM I WOULD BE BACK THE NEXT DAY TO GET MY RUGER BACK. After another 20 in gas I took the 315.00 and suddenly it was just the principle not counting the $76.00 pawn fee! AGAIN! FOR ONE DAY! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO JONESVILLE JAIL THAT DAY. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THOS CON MANS FEVER DREAM AS LONG AS I DRAW BREATH!
