Seriously the best grocery store in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and great selections. There is a Starbucks and a fresh sushi stand in the store and they have 2 Redbox movie rental machines. Everything is fresh and well stocked. I love love love my Albertsons!! Everyone is helpful and friendly and there are several cashiers who remember their customers and are friendly to their kids. Wonderful produce and bakery section! Even though they hire young kids, they always seem to have a great attitude. I recently went and shopped while wearing my 2 month old baby in a sling and was having a hard time unloading my groceries. The cashier next to my line offered to unload everything for me onto the conveyer belt and also insisted on letting the bagger help me out to the car when I initially had said no. Their policy of opening a lane when there are more then 3 people in line is also amazing! They stay true to this policy and I have never had to wait in long lines, even on major holidays doing last minute shopping! read more

I love my Ladera Ranch Albertson's Store! The store is close to home, always well stocked, and the staff is exceptional. They know my wife and I by our first names and it just seems like a fun place to shop. We have been going there since 2005. Parking is easy and checkouts always fast (I generally use self-service). The extra services are amazing, Sushi Chef is a nice touch, Bakery and hot food items always fresh and a delight. love this store. sooooo clean and well laid out. nice flow and the staff is great. friendly, great meat variety in the deli and in the butcher area. Huge variety of products and goods. Small section upon entering of home decor and multi colored glassware and vases. Small pharmacy and customer service area...like this joint. Just an average neighborhood Albertson's store. The location is pretty clean and while I don't have much issue with their merchandise selection and availability, their service is severely lacking. To be fair, I have had on several occasion pleasant experience with friendly cashiers/baggers here, but things usually fall apart pretty bad at night time (After dinner shopping rush around 7:30pm). This is when all the 12 year olds come to work and yap away among themselves without properly engaging customers. For example, when 2 cash stands are open, it is pretty typical that a cashier on stand 1 will be talking about personal things to cashier 2 with other 2 baggers and 1 cart fetcher are all standing around listening and laughing.... all while you are literally standing in the middle of their conversation ring. Cashier would not greet or even make eye contacts with you. There were several times when the cashier was done scanning my items and didn't say anything, so I was standing there thinking the register was still processing, We all have had our first afterschool job at one point so I understand it is tempting to talk to fellow coworkers in your age group, but the management should really do a better job instilling customer service value in these younguns. read more

I wish I could give the store 5 stars and an employee one star. Overall, I love this store. Yes, it's always busy but things are well stocked and the store is always organized. Today I went to the store (as I do 2-3 times a week) and had one of the worst displays of customer service I have ever seen. Leonard, the elderly checker, needs to be re-assigned. I waited in line today for 21 minutes. Both lines to either side of me both ran twice through, and I was still in line. Why? Because Leonard has no respect for people's time. I waited while he told the woman 2 people in front of me all about the sweater he wants to buy. Then I waited some more while he stood and told the woman in front of me how dry his hands were, what type of lotion he uses, etc etc etc. He does not know any of the produce codes so he needs to look every. Single. One. Up. When it was finally my turn and I commented to Leonard that his line was taking much longer than the others, he raised his voice and became angry. He said "you need to be patient, this isn't gonna be fast." Then he started throwing my food items onto the bagging stand. I kindly asked him not to throw my food as I didn't want all my produce bruised. Unfortunately for myself, and I assume many other, the grocery store is not a leisure activity. I do not have endless hours in my day to spend at the grocery store. I also don't need to be verbally assaulted by an elderly checker. Albertsons management- please find a slower, less busy store for this employee or this customer will be finding a different grocery store- one that respects my valuable time. read more

This is more of a rating for a specific employee. My fiancé and I love shopping here and purposely wait in Leos line when he is working. He always goes out of his way to make us feel welcomed and remembered. The world could use more people like him and makes shopping here an overall better experience. He is awesome! read more

I have always been a loyal customer to Albertsons, and will always appreciate the kind employees they have within the store. I have never had a problem with this particular location until today. My family and I are volenteers at our local church, and they are raising money for their annual trip to Haiti, where they are helping to build orphanages and help families in need. We decided to hold a bake sale to help raise the money, and where better to set up than your local grocery store?! I didn't think there would be any problem considering I always see Girl Scout troops and other fundraisers selling inexpensive treats outside of the exits/entrances. We were having so much fun selling our treats. Employees were buying them, and other customers would buy some on their way in or out of the store. It was all fun in games until someone working there came out (I'm not sure if they were the manager) and starting yelling at us. I am not exaggerating when I use the word "yell". I completely understand if we were not allowed to stand out in front of the store, but where was the need for the loud, angry voices? So not only did we get kicked off of the property, but this man went out of his way to walk all throughout the shopping center to tell the other shop owners to keep an eye out for us. All of our intensions were pure and for the greater good of the world. I guess that's less important than "being a minor while fundraising on a retail property" This is the only negative encounter I have had in this store, but it will be one to remember. read more

i'm writing this review with one star in hopes of bringing attention to such poor customer service by the deli dept. early saturday morning and not another person needing service but myself...older hisoanic guy with a moustache is cutting huge piles of meat and bagging it...he looked right at me while weighing the meat, didnt say a word and turned his back to me...went about cutting more meat...again looked at me from two feet away and weighed the meat...finally asked what i wanted and i told him "eight" slices of swiss...never said a word back, didnt show me the slice for approval (which almost everyone else does) and while i was looking at my shopping list...he just dropped my bag on the counter, didnt say a word...much less thank you...turned his back on me and went back to cutting meat...when i looked up and saw a bag just sitting there and him back at the meart cutter i asked "oh is this my cheese?" and he said "yes"...horrible customer serivice...hated dealing with such a grump first thing in the morning...and of course when i got home there wasnt eight slices there were only seven! on the flip side a super nice produce guy carried in my watermelons as they were outside the store...and when i checked out i had "joy" whether that is her real name or not...she certainly lived up to it...she was happy, friendly and efficient...so the review really should be maybe mid point and wish i could do two different reviews..giving priduce and checkout an A+ but grumpy ruined my ,orning shopping at albertsons...and thats why we so love trader joes!!!!!. read more
