    Raw rotisserie chicken.
    Nhi P.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I've always gone here for my groceries and rotisserie chicken. However, today we experienced a raw one. I called and the person who answered said to bring my receipt and chicken back to the store so they can check it. My brother decided to give them a second chance and got a replacement chicken... came home and it's still RAW! I called back and the same lady Tulu? I could be mistaking her name interrupted me as I was telling her that the second chicken was still raw by telling me that they replaced my chicken. She told me the deli department checked the chicken 3 times and that it was cooked. Unfortunately, that's a huge negative. She told me to bring my chicken and receipt back for a refund but that's not what I'm asking for. I just needed them to remove all the rotisserie chicken that was made with mine because I'm sure they're all still raw. She would've gotten the nice me If she'd stop interrupting me as I was speaking. Poor customer service.

The heck is this supposed to be? Not a king cake.

Please discontinue that nasty cardboard with sprinkles that y'all call a King Cake. It is so nasty. Please do not disrespect the city of New Orleans by continuing to sell this during Mardi Gras. Please google what king cake is supposed to look like. Better yet just go to New Orleans and visit Gambino's or Antoines and do a taste test.

There is a stain on my cake

It's the closest store to my house. The staff is nice and they're inclusive in their hiring practices.

Clean store, shiny floor. Other grocers in the area, but nobody can top the appearance of Albertsons. Friendly staff, too.

The things that are more expensive you truly feel like they are good quality and a decent value. They have a lot of produce that you wouldn't see anywhere else. The bakery is legit and has awesome cakes and breads. Snacks and dried goods imported from all over the world. They have a really nice selection of flowers that they'll beautifully wrap up for you. Plus the cafe has really good food. We always get pizza and it's great quality for a great price. They also have a playground for little ones. Shopping at Central Market is truly a one of a kind experience and I always leave feeling excited about the new and unique things they have. They frequently have special events and themes too. I remember a few years ago they did one on Portugal and had a bunch of imported Portuguese items and they made Portuguese bread and pastries in the bakery. It was amazing.

Once you walk in, it is kind of sensory overload. There is a "food court" right up front with several options. Hamburgers, tacos, pizza, sandwiches, sushi, gelato, and more. Plenty to choose from. I also went back to the bakery and checked out their assorted baked goods. I was underwhelmed. They looked phenomenal but they were average size, etc. But the prices were outrageous. More expensive that San Diego prices which kind of surprised me. I ended up getting a hamburger. The chef was very nice, friendly, made me laugh. He built me a fantastic bleu bonnet burger. It was tasty, flavorful, filling. It was cooked a little more than I would normally want, but still yummy. the Brioche Bun was good, but did fall apart a little bit. Maybe warming it on the grill had something to do with that. I went with a combo that included a drink cup for the help yourself drink station. The drink station had interesting flavors I have never seen before, and some old standards like coke, diet coke, sprite. The combo also included crinkle cut fries. They were warm, golden brown, delicious but they were a little overdone. Definitely needed some ketchup to help eat them. The staff at the checkout lines were smiling, laughing, friendly, and when they had to check out one of their coworkers, you could see the strong camaraderie amongst the employees. It looks like a fun place to work and the team works well together. I got dessert at another place in town. Enjoy the photos.

It's mostly a 3rd world experience, but that is what these people have come to expect. A couple of weeks ago upon entering the store the tortilla machine was out of service. While I tried to engage the employee behind the counter on estimated repairs, pure rudeness. The lack of masks worn by the staff was also nonexistent!!!! Yesterday I called to inquire if this Fiesta carried sugar cane in a can. The employee who answered the phone said they would ask the manager. Well, the male manager came to the phone and said No!!! And then he hung up on me abruptly! Well let's just say...I'm driving to Central Market for my tortillas now. And it's worth it for the better customer service & quality! Too many other grocery store choices in my Neighborhood to spent my dollars at Fiesta.
