So I trust my intuition and I went in for waxing. Maria was my esthetician and she was wonderful! The salon is sparkling clean, the decor is amazing and of course the service she provided was outstanding. First, they cancelled my appointment without calling or texting me. When I said no to 225 euros for color and cut and said let's just do a cut and dry, the stylist never showed up the next day!! I came and the super disinterested staff member said, your appointment was cancelled. No call, no text. I rescheduled with a different hair stylist later that day (stupid idea), got a mediocre cut, was quoted 42 euros, and then was charged 55 euros. For nothing. No hairspray in the hair, no product, just a little blow dry, which lasted me a maximum of 30 minutes after I left the place. You don't even put one puff of hairspray, how long do you think this blow dry will last? Honestly, I am disgusted. When I questioned the 55 euros (I was very clearly quoted 42 euros), four hairstylists came to YELL at me, in front of everyone, that I was robbing them. Awful, awful experience. Would never ever go back.

He washed my hair and then I explained in my best pigeon Spanish want I wanted. He cut my hair with a real attention to detail, I have never seen someone use so many devices to get everything perfect. After he washed my hair again he went over everything, even searching out individual hairs and making sure everything was exactly right. Finally he trimmed the eyebrows, made sure the sides were so even that they could have been cut with a laser and then blow dried and styled it all. The price for this exceptional service €9.95. When I visited, there was only one hairdresser working at a time and since I came without an appointment, I waited for an hour to have just my eyebrows threaded. She didn't get all of the fine hairs I have, so I don't think I'll come back any time soon for that service, but an 8 euro haircut? Maybe.
