Well...1. the plants were so healthy and thriving, 2. the staff was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind, and 3. this business gives back to the community. Today I phoned to order a memorial tree. Evan answered the phone even though they were not technically open for another 45 minutes. He took plenty of time with my questions and assured me the gift certificate would be delivered to the family. Now talk about going above and beyond. Thank you, Evan and staff for all you do. I checked my phone again, and nowhere did I see a message that they were closed for the season. When I got back home, I checked their website on the computer. At the top, in very small print, was the closed message. It would be very helpful if that message could be much more prominent somewhere near the normal posted hours online. We wasted time and gas going to Sandpoint, also very disappointed that they were closed before the end of October.

It dropped all its needles within six days. Went back and showed them a photo and asked what they could do. Didn't demand a replacement or refund, just looking for some accommodation. The owner stood "on policy" and offered nothing but a 5% discount on a potential replacement, which doesn't even cover sales tax. The people working at the Garden Center are great - this lies squarely with the owner, who seems to take a very short-term view of the business. I'm an avid gardener, but hesitate to do any further business with them and can't recommend them to you.
