This is such a fun and beautiful property. Lots to do around the area and at the property itself. The price you pay is per person, bc your stay includes dinner (9:00 pm), campfire with marshmallows (10:30 pm), and breakfast (8:00 am). The price might seem high for Mexico, but I think it's worth it. Especially in comparison to USD, it's pretty cheap for everything you are getting.
*Activities at the property:
-River, hammocks, campfire, board games
*Activities close by: (less than a 5 min drive)
-waterfalls, waterfall jumping, canoeing, zip lines/ bike zip line (at the adventure park), hiking, etc.
Each adorable hut has four bunk beds and holds about 8 people (some might be different, but that's how ours was). The huts have 2 fans in them, but no AC. And YES, it does get super flipping hot in the summer!! We went early July and sleeping was miserable, but I would absolutely come back (prob in a cooler month next time)!! They have community bathrooms and showers.
The only cons from our stay were:
-Booking must be done over the phone and it is a little difficult if you don't speak Spanish.
-Rooms were super hot during the summer
-Dinner was not until 9:30!
-They change the menu day to day and our dinner was pretty gross! They served us italian food, in Mexico! Yuck! Our traditional Mexican breakfast the next morning was AMAZING though, so it totally made up for it!!
Overall, I really loved this place. It was unique and something fun to try. The location was really good with plenty of entertainment. It's far enough out that you can still feel off the grid and in touch with nature. I will for sure be back! read more
