Light batter coating fresh white fish and accompanied by crispy chips. One of the outlets has a restaurant as well as the two take-aways. We chose, on this occasion, the restaurant because it was still quite cold outside along the sea wall. Nice seating with friendly service. The food speaks for itself.

Orders for both are taken at the till, if eating in it is best to grab a table first, check out the menu and then send someone up to order. Not so easy if you're eating alone. The menu is limited to traditional fish, chicken, burgers, a few vegetarian options and chips. Hot and soft drinks are available. Yates doesn't have a licence for alchohol so its a quick eat place rather than a destination for an evening meal. The food is tasty and reasonably priced for family meals. I would recommend this as a good place to eat in Walton.
