poor service from start to finish. finish being going somewhere else to fix their nearly two grand computer that failed within 12 months. too many examples of incompetence to list but here's a few. Computer not ready for pick up, boss Steve tells me its because my partner hasn't dropped off her hard drive for data swap, i point to a hard drive behind him and tell him it was indeed dropped off three days ago. get it home and it doesnt work because despite being told several times, he hasn't set it up for wireless. when it first showed signs of malfunction, was told repeatedly it must be my unreliable power supply. It Wasn't. Back and forth to shop at least 6 times, initially refused to see problem on site,i live all of 5mins away, in aldgate. Eventually comes out sees problem, says he will update program, if that doesn't work, replace mother board as there had been 'some faulty ones". Update doesn't work so i take it in, after a week they tell me its fixed. It wasn't. Nothing was done.When questioned Steve blamed me for "putting time constraints" on his work. I had it fixed in two days elswhere. Also Steve told me he was too busy when nobody called me back after three days, when i had reqested a call. Pity he wasn't too busy to sell me a computer in the first place. It doen't always pay to go local.Avoid this business. read more

These guys were able to expertly resolve some difficulties with the operation of my desktop computer, quickly and effectively. They have been extremely helpful with advice on a number of hardware and software issues over recent years, with both my laptop and desktop computer. They built me a computer a few years ago and I have been delighted with the results. In particular, recently, they have been very supportive around data backup options and anti-virus/security issues. I have really appreciated their patience in explaining particular computer problems, options and solutions in a way that a non computer tech person can understand. I have also been able to purchase various accessories from their store which is well stocked. Their prices are very fair. In summary, Aldgate Computers has provided excellent service over a number of years now and this was reinforced by their assistance in dealing with some recent problems. I have a high level of confidence in the level of expertise at Aldgate computers.
