Unfortunately, this is the closest grocery store to my apartment…read more The layout is awkward, and the selection minimal. They have a baked goods section, which is often nearly empty or empty. I think they stop baking really early in the day. The baskets are at the exit instead of the entrance, because staff don't move them back once they have been used. Also, they don't take credit cards, which is crazy for a chain of grocery stores! I try to shop elsewhere if I can, but I don't mind some of the other Penny stores (like the one on Hohenzollernstrasse...).

This little market had most of what we…read moreneeded, very convenient, and the prices were quite low compared to the U.S. We had a couple of questions and the staff did their best to help us find things. Wish some of the items came in smaller packages, we don't need 10 rolls of toilet paper for the week.
