While visiting and not getting a cart but instead a box and put on counter. The cashier began removing the items and throwing them down and then made remarks and cursed after I asked what was the problem. I took picture of him shooting me the bird in front of other customers. Can't believe this a place of business . He needs a different job. read more

I love Aldi products. This store leaves a lot to be desired. I returned an item that I paid for using my debit card when I returned they would only give me a merchandise credit. Every other time I have returned something they always give me the cash back. This store said policy is different but I've returned plenty of items and have been given cash back. My advise don't use debit card! read more

This is just a quick Covid update. We have been going to this branch semi-regularly since our branch is closed for renovations. They offer wipes to clean your cart at the entrance, though unfortunately you have to fetch your cart and push it to the entrance first. So you can either bring a wipe with you, handle the cart with a napkin or something until you get to the entrance, or use the hand sanitizer they offer and don't touch your face while in the store. They have one way aisles, but most people ignore it. They encourage distancing at the register but they are so fast scanning items, you need to be on your toes when you can get close enough to unload your groceries. I wish they had hand sanitizer at the exit also, but we keep some in the car so it works out. Our own branch will be reopening soon, but I have no reason not to use this one when we are in the area. read more

Low prices for high quality seems to be what Aldi is all about. And this is absolutely the best place to buy nuts, both to save $ and for freshness. I eat a lot of various kinds, and only twice over the last six months did I detect even a trace of staleness in any of them. They have a good organic produce section, and some amazing cheese prices including hard goat and/or sheep cheese I need for the Plant Paradox diet. Yes all-in-all they have a "limited selection," but I like a small store and not having to walk for miles to find what I want. Subtracted one star for cashier service - almost always just one on duty, two at most, so generally very long lines. I know there's a labor shortage, and that having fewer employees also must help keep prices low - but occasionally there'll be a cashier who's kind of unpleasant to customers without being given any reason to be. Usually the person doesn't last long, but that just shouldn't happen at all if a store wants more people coming back! I will though, at least until a Trader Joe's finally comes to The Villages. read more

Their watermelons are 10 on the scale for sweetness,texture and color AND freshness being very crisp vs: soft & mushy! I'm 80 and used to loading melons in May when school was out in Lake & Sumter Counties. I hope they continue to buy from this source. They're seedless.. read more

Great values, and superior customer service! Due to limited selection, I shop here on my way to Walmart. They clobber Walmart prices if they have what you need. Always a great spot for produce and German goods. Clean too! read more

This is the 3rd time in as many weeks I've had to throw out a half gallon of milk because it soured well before the "Use By" date. The one I just threw out today 7/1, had a Use By date of 7/7. Don't buy your milk from here. read more

I have been shopping Aldi for years, they have only one brand, Aldi's brand, and it is usually the best, rarely is it just average. This Leesburg store has a huge volume so occasionally they can not keep things on the shelf, the staff is fast and courteous. It takes a while to learn what are permanent (always available) items and which are seasonal. so you can stock up on these items in season. The non food items are usually far less expensive than those found elsewhere and have a money back guarantee. . Doesn't get much better than this, read more
