Aldi is an international grocery chain of grocery markets that usually offer lower prices than the National Supermarkets. You do need to have a quarter to get a grocery cart here to shop. The quarters unlock the carts here and you get your quarter back when you return the cart. You also need to bring in your own shopping bags or be prepared to purchase a shopping bag. When you are done shopping the cashier rings up your purchase but doesn't bag your groceries so be prepared for that. This store has been very good for a while. Lately we noticed that the produce isn't as fresh as it used to be. This past weekend we purchased several packs of Bell Peppers. We could see from the outside of the packages but they all had rotten spots where they rested together. It was almost like shopping at Smith's. We still like the store but need to watch the produce more now. read more

First-time Aldi shopper here! I decided to check out the location on Craig Rd., and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, their shopping carts require a quarter to use but don't worry, you get it back when you return the cart. Also, they don't provide plastic bags, so you'll need to bring your own reusable bags and bag your groceries yourself. As you can imagine the service in check out goes by pretty quick, they literally throw all your items into your cart and you'll move on to the side counter to bag them up. Aldi has a great variety of grocery staples, especially when it comes to produce. The best way I can describe it is: imagine if Walmart had a store mostly filled with Great Value products and very few name brands that's the Aldi vibe. I picked up about 17 grocery items for around $45. Anywhere else, that probably would've cost me closer to $60 or more. You really get a good bang for your buck. If you're not too concerned about name brands, this is a great spot to save money. They don't have hot food, but their cold meats were surprisingly affordable. I grabbed marinated carne asada for $8 and al pastor for $6, such a good deal. I'd definitely come back for produce, pantry items, and some of their meats. Overall, I really liked Aldi! read more

We were in this neck of the woods and I wanted to compare Aldis, so we went in and checked it out. I noticed this Aldi unlike the other one I was at had alcohol on the shelves...this store is also clearly much bigger. I ended up buying a lot of stuff in here, because there were some great deals and some yummy looking food!!! I wish this were closer to me, as I feel like I would frequent this location more often! read more

New store still has some items to be added like the wines, but this is a small store with some great prices with a little bit of everything. The aisles are nice and wide stores very clean easy to get around. Nice big signs to see where everything's at. When you check out, they scan the items for you, but you put the things in the bags yourself . Staff is friendly and it's a nice little local area grocery store something different. read more

I'm happy to see Aldi's opening all over town. The stores prices are very low compared to competitors. Items such as .59 cent avocados and 1.99 cartons of raspberries is unheard of in today's market. Produce is fresh and I love finding items I don't usually see in other stores like international chocolates and candy. Not everything is lower but I would say about 70% of their items are cheaper. Bring your own reusable bags to help our environment and enjoy not having to spend $100 on groceries for just a few days. There is a .25 cent requirement to use a cart but it's returned to you when the cart is returned to where you got it from. This saves the store from hiring staff to have to collect carts all day long. Pretty clever and once again brings their prices down to have as little employees possible saving all their of us $$$. read more

Welcome to town! So glad you're here! I went during their grand opening, and even after a couple days their aisles were still crowded. They were fully stocked though, had everything I usually love. My favorite is the mini garlic naan that fits in a toaster. I wanted to get avocados, but for some reason they felt extra cold - almost like they were frozen. While everything was available, personally I can be picky about fruits and veggies. The Craig location seems bigger than the one I used to shop at in TX. This location has nice glass refrigerator doors for all the dairy items along the entire wall! As usual, ALDI makes me want to buy five carts full. They need more carts by the way especially when they're busy packed. Good thing though I had my reusable baggies. So bring yours to save time breezing through and between cart luggers. read more

Yelp Review 2025 #106: Grand opening day: April 24, 2025 at 9am. The line was super long that it wrapped around the entire strip mall. Who would've thought people would actually get excited and stand in line for the opening of a grocery store?! Unheard of! My first trip to an Aldi was in Europe: Germany, France, Portugal, UK, and Poland. I'd get fresh produce and some snacks. So, hearing they're opening one in North Las Vegas - I was like "okaaaayyy!" How I feel about Aldi is the same way I feel about Trader Joe's. Both have great products without being pricey. In today's economy, that's important. This store is on Craig and Clayton where 24 Hour Fitness and then Crunch Fitness used to be. Behind IHOP. They don't carry a lot of big brand grocery products which is fine. The mystery of trying unfamiliar is part of the excitement. You bag your own stuff...which is not hard at all. I bring my own bags so I don't have to pay for using their cart and bags. I came here specifically for fresh pineapple and their pineapple in coconut water. I suggest not coming here the first few days of grand opening. It is nuts! read more

It was OK. Lots of odd products. We picked up a few obscure food products. Service is a bit odd. If you don't buy their bags you just have a cart full of items. Hint here is bring your own bags. Kind of a sketch area. Not to bad. Another hint bring a quarter for use of a cart. And expect people waiting outside for your cart. I guess they are looking for quarters. Let me put my cart away. Get my quarter back and I will be happy to give you 2 whole quarters. read more

First day opening! I came in around 6:30pm and there was no line but lots of people in and out. There was a person directing entrance and exit in th front. They had a QR code display that you can scan and sign up for a chance to win $$$ Store - I thought it was a small one but they do have everything you need. Frozen meats, produce, bakery items, garden stuff just to name a few. I noticed that there was not a lot of meat selection or maybe they were gone since I came late I'm not sure. Parking- they do have a lot of spaces Location: Craig and Clayton I came just to get coconut clusters but I ended up getting cheese puffs and corn puffs and I got fresh stawberries since it was on sale for $1.69 each. Prices are reasonable. Long line for cashiers but pretty fast service. When you pay, the cashier will ask if you want a bag I said no since I have my reusable bags from trader joe's :). I strongly recommend to bring your own reusable bag. I did notice a lot of people brought their own as well. I will go back for sure they do have a lot of keto dieters snacks read more

I wanted to love this so much! Fun fact- I didn't. We had our quarter ready and got our cart. Steeped with anticipation, we'd heard such great things! Two other ladies were heading in at the same time and it was their first time too! Wow! A cantaloupe for 98¢! We are off to a great start! Once we started making our way inside it resembled something of a swap meet. There's no rhyme or reason to the aisles. Here are some dry goods and home goods (more like swap meet junk). We did get some cheeses that looked pretty tasty, we will see what the quality is like. Mostly off brand items with a few name brand (Nestle, Kellogggs) thrown in too. Sadly it was an underwhelming experience and the guest service was awful! Overall a fairly long drive for a disappointing shopping experience. read more

Do not shop here! I shopped at Aldis on Craig this past weekend and when I got home the meat I bought had worms in it. I returned it and they acted as if I was making things up. As an east coast native, I've been waiting over a decade for an Aldi to appear in Las Vegas. Finally, the time is now! So far everything lives up to the standard I remember from childhood -- low prices, no frills displays, quality generic products, good deals on name-brand items, packing your own groceries, and the wonder that is the coin-operated cart. I went about a week after opening, so it was still quite busy. Lots of locals are confused about the cart system and the bagging policy; if you aren't used to this, prepare before you go! I was amazed to see how many people said they didn't have a quarter on them. Employees were all friendly and helpful, even apologizing for out of stock items (the treasured frozen schnitzel). Despite the high traffic, the store is spotless and the bathroom was well-maintained. read more

I can always find something for the family at Aldi! it's a quick shop in and out which allows me to get fresh produce, a huge selection of cheeses, plenty of convenience foods, and my favorite is their version of Red Bull! Aldi is a wonderful place to save money and to shop. Don't forget your quarter if you need a cart, but you can bring bags and use those. Aldi- great prices, healthy options and good customer service. This location is on Craig & Clayton by the Big 5 store and Taco Bell. It is a smaller store but they have plenty of options from organic bananas, strawberries for $1.69, organic options, drinks, toys and a few home decor items. They charge for bags so make sure to bring your own reusable bag or purchase one of theirs at the front. I like how they have their cashiers sit in a chair. Tells me they care about their employees. It is a little different because they don't bag up your items. At the end they have a counter table that you can bag up your items. read more

1st I have to save I have NOT been inside this store I grew up in the midwest where every small town had an Aldi's which was 3-4 aisles with a small cooler/freezer section and mostly no brand or discontinued type food items. a low budget trader joes x grocery outlet. great for cheap stuff but limited variety. THE ALDI's I ordered from on door dash had the most extensive menu i've ever seen at an aldi's i was pleasantly surprised. ALDI's has a HALFOFF coupon so I was looking to get a $100 worth of groceries for $50 and I did. It was delivered perfectly with everything I ordered. I will be ordering regularly. read more

Has a local market vibe. Was small. I liked that they had a bit of holiday decor, this was Thanksgiving/fall. I liked the pumpkin kitchenware. and the pet clothes. They had a small animal house like a pumpkin Frappuccino so cute. Nice cheese and charcuterie meats. Veggies were priced well. Good local market for basics or staples. read more

Let me begin by saying I am a devoted Trader Joe's (on Washington just East of Buffalo) customer. Because Aldi is their parent company I had great expectations but I was not impressed at all. The cart costs a quarter. They don't bag the groceries They made no attempt to make me feel welcome tho' I told the cashier it was my first time shopping there. Never asked if I found everything. The produce is located just as you walk in the door, so it's wilted by the time you get to the checkout. I love Trader Joe's even more now! read more

This store is AMAZING. They have very healthy items you would normally get at like Sprouts and Trader Joes but for a FRACTION of the price. This ALDI has only been open for not a month and my family and I have been there four times already. They have really good items and if you don't mind generic products you can get a good bang for your buck. My aunt was complaining and REFUSES to go because you have to bag your own groceries and use a quarter for the cart, first of all, YOU GET THE QUARTER BACK. IDK why people think this is an issue. Then, I would honestly rather bag my stuff because some baggers just throw all your crap together. Plus, if you shop at Winco, or used to shop at food for less you know that's how it is. If you are thinking about going there, DO IT! You will not regret it but besides maybe spending money! LOL read more

Store was not very neat, lots of empty boxes on shelves. Prices are comparable to other stores if not more expensive. Fruit didn't look fresh, watermelon broken open in bin. Beef in meat department was dark in color like it was packaged days ago. We did pick up a few items and read you had to bag your own items, so we were expecting that, but the cashier was not friendly at all. Just tossed! I mean tossed everything in a basket. No thank you for shopping here. Just turned and walked away after checking us out. Late for break I guess. This was the first time shopping at Aldi and probably last. So we had to pull the basket aside and sort out our groceries to bag them so our bakery items weren't smashed further. Terrible customer service. It's got some good things, then it's missing half the things you need. Today tomatoes were out. Last time it was no mayo. Time before that the freezers were down. The cashier today was so terrible with my items. She just drops the big heavy stuff all on top of vegetables and bread. So hard the bag of limes tear. Oinoin bags ripped cilantro smashed. We went to the new Aldi store on W. Craig in North Las Vegas. Lots of food items. I bought their Broccoli Stuffed Chicken (Boneless skinless chicken breast hand stuffed with broccoli & cheddar au gratin). It looked delicious and I thought, WOW, a stuffed chicken breast dish.....I followed the instructions on the package - Open package and place the chicken on a cutting board, slice chicken breast into 1 inch slices....etc......Well, guess what, the chicken breasts were not stuffed and there was only one small piece of broccoli in some cream sauce. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FEEL VERY MISLED BY THE PACKAGING. I went to the Aldi website and filed a comment/complaint and I got a standard letter back that I had to take my receipt (which I didn't keep) back to the store for a full refund. HERE IS AN UPDATE - I WENT BACK TO THE STORE AND THEY GAVE ME A FULL REFUND AND ALSO TOLD ME i COULD PICK ANY PRODUCT FOR FREE. So my original 1 star is now 3...I was very satisfied and the store manager was very nice. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this ALDI location. Let me just say I do love ALDI, or well I use to. The ALDI I had regularly shopped in Upstate New York had both the amazing prices and great selection, namely the German and other European foods that had made this store chain unique. This store had none whatsoever. It felt like just another generic grocery store. Why would I go to ALDI when I can go to another grocery with similar prices and a wider selection? On top of that, one of the items I purchased was moldy. Purchased on the second day of opening and appeared not to have been opened. The product, a pack of Prosciutto, looked okay in the store. However, at closer inspection, there was this black spot that each piece had on the same area and tasted of mold. It must be an issue with the manufacturer. Really expected better quality and a more authentic ALDI experience. I DO NOT recommend buying from here unless you are looking to be extremely dissatisfied and sick. read more
