New store still has some items to be added like the wines, but this is a small store with some great prices with a little bit of everything. The aisles are nice and wide stores very clean easy to get around. Nice big signs to see where everything's at. When you check out, they scan the items for you, but you put the things in the bags yourself . Staff is friendly and it's a nice little local area grocery store something different.

I'm happy to see Aldi's opening all over town. The stores prices are very low compared to competitors. Items such as .59 cent avocados and 1.99 cartons of raspberries is unheard of in today's market. Produce is fresh and I love finding items I don't usually see in other stores like international chocolates and candy. Not everything is lower but I would say about 70% of their items are cheaper. Bring your own reusable bags to help our environment and enjoy not having to spend $100 on groceries for just a few days. There is a .25 cent requirement to use a cart but it's returned to you when the cart is returned to where you got it from. This saves the store from hiring staff to have to collect carts all day long. Pretty clever and once again brings their prices down to have as little employees possible saving all their of us $$$.

Welcome to town! So glad you're here! I went during their grand opening, and even after a couple days their aisles were still crowded. They were fully stocked though, had everything I usually love. My favorite is the mini garlic naan that fits in a toaster. I wanted to get avocados, but for some reason they felt extra cold - almost like they were frozen. While everything was available, personally I can be picky about fruits and veggies. The Craig location seems bigger than the one I used to shop at in TX. This location has nice glass refrigerator doors for all the dairy items along the entire wall! As usual, ALDI makes me want to buy five carts full. They need more carts by the way especially when they're busy packed. Good thing though I had my reusable baggies. So bring yours to save time breezing through and between cart luggers.

Yelp Review 2025 #106: Grand opening day: April 24, 2025 at 9am. The line was super long that it wrapped around the entire strip mall. Who would've thought people would actually get excited and stand in line for the opening of a grocery store?! Unheard of! My first trip to an Aldi was in Europe: Germany, France, Portugal, UK, and Poland. I'd get fresh produce and some snacks. So, hearing they're opening one in North Las Vegas - I was like "okaaaayyy!" How I feel about Aldi is the same way I feel about Trader Joe's. Both have great products without being pricey. In today's economy, that's important. This store is on Craig and Clayton where 24 Hour Fitness and then Crunch Fitness used to be. Behind IHOP. They don't carry a lot of big brand grocery products which is fine. The mystery of trying unfamiliar is part of the excitement. You bag your own stuff...which is not hard at all. I bring my own bags so I don't have to pay for using their cart and bags. I came here specifically for fresh pineapple and their pineapple in coconut water. I suggest not coming here the first few days of grand opening. It is nuts!

Cart full of random stuff. Including a witch.

It was OK. Lots of odd products. We picked up a few obscure food products. Service is a bit odd. If you don't buy their bags you just have a cart full of items. Hint here is bring your own bags. Kind of a sketch area. Not to bad. Another hint bring a quarter for use of a cart. And expect people waiting outside for your cart. I guess they are looking for quarters. Let me put my cart away. Get my quarter back and I will be happy to give you 2 whole quarters.

First day opening! I came in around 6:30pm and there was no line but lots of people in and out. There was a person directing entrance and exit in th front. They had a QR code display that you can scan and sign up for a chance to win $$$ Store - I thought it was a small one but they do have everything you need. Frozen meats, produce, bakery items, garden stuff just to name a few. I noticed that there was not a lot of meat selection or maybe they were gone since I came late I'm not sure. Parking- they do have a lot of spaces Location: Craig and Clayton I came just to get coconut clusters but I ended up getting cheese puffs and corn puffs and I got fresh stawberries since it was on sale for $1.69 each. Prices are reasonable. Long line for cashiers but pretty fast service. When you pay, the cashier will ask if you want a bag I said no since I have my reusable bags from trader joe's :). I strongly recommend to bring your own reusable bag. I did notice a lot of people brought their own as well. I will go back for sure they do have a lot of keto dieters snacks

It looks like they haven't... they are just quietly existing. This morning I woke up to our two meows both standing by their bowls. We are moving today and were planning on their next meal being at the new place-- but I couldn't stand their sadness! I searched for the earliest opening grocery store and found that Winco is 24 hours. The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. It's a bulk/warehouse style store and a standard grocery.Huge sausage selection... some odds and ends like rope. Low gluten free selection. Decent produce. Helpful service and wide aisles. Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. Just saying, so many people dis Winco just because they can't choose from 18 kinds of olive oil or there are no lobsters swimming in the seafood section and of course, you have to use cash or debit... do people still shop with cash? More do every day after all the rip offs of credit cards

But since we were at a restaurant in the same parking lot essentially , we picked up a few things. The parking lot was ok... obviously the morning shoppers were long gone and the after or on the way home from work folks haven't arrived. They were doing some heavy duty restocking at least in the areas we're in, the store certainly looked alot better. Prices, yeah they are more expensive than say Winco, but a better selection overall. Didn't really buy much and our cashier (Kashare) was pleasant . Idk if we'll be regulars, but but if we change our grocery shopping days, we may add Smiths back into the rotation

It's just as dirty as the other Smith's that I do some shopping at. Dirty is a Smith's thing I guess. Last time I was here I purchased a thermometer. The thermometer didn't function correctly so I tried to return it at my closest Smith's. At my store they told me that they would take the thermometer but won't give me my purchase money back because I purchased it at Aliante. That made my husband very angry. This time I tried to buy the three pound containers of ground turkey. All three nearby Smith's grocery stores did not have the three pound packages and only had the one pound packages that cost much more per pound. To everyone. This Smith's location is just as dirty as the other Smith's Grocery Stores.

I'll use that app as a grocery list and visit the store if I'm close by. Sometimes the product on the app isn't available at the store locations. In any case, there's usually another brand of the same product. This gives me the opp to price shop. Often their products are discounted with a Smith's rewards card. Please get one! The great thing too, is Smith's carries Kroger brand's label and I trust their brand name. The label has everything I've needed from taco and sandwich ingredients, ice cream, baking necessities, breakfast stuff, and even fish, chicken, or meat items. I discovered a small international section as well. Inside the store, they have a limited section of booze, but I was still able to find something for the parties I've attended. It looks like some of the more popular names can be found though. Some other pluses include a bakery, meat and deli service, and last minute flowers, balloons or gift ideas. Only once had I experienced snubby customer service at this location from a cashier. All other times were great anyway. It's a grocery store and convenience store all in one.

What was even more shocking was what was happening behind the customer service desk. There were at least 5-6 supervisors/managers standing around laughing, gossiping about other employees, openly discussing drug use, and acting like they didn't have a single responsibility in the building. I came in for a simple exchange because a pair of pants I purchased was too small. The young associate helping me was interrupted mid-sentence by a manager who decided it was more important to talk badly about another employee right in front of customers. The entire group started laughing while customers stood there waiting for help. It was unbelievably unprofessional and honestly embarrassing to witness. One manager even loudly said, "I don't hire, I fire," as if intimidating employees was some kind of joke or badge of honor. That statement alone tells you everything you need to know about the leadership culture in this store. Instead of supporting employees and helping customers during a busy rush, management was acting immature, careless, and completely disconnected from basic professionalism. I genuinely felt bad for the associates actually trying to work while management stood around creating a toxic environment. Walmart should seriously investigate the leadership at this location because the behavior I witnessed was unacceptable for any workplace, especially one dealing directly with the public.
