Their heritage breeds include Icelandic lamb, Berkshire pork, Galloway beef, poultry such as Muscovy duck, and others. The farmers use natural farming practices. Their animals enjoy large, green pastures, and pigs aerate the soil. The farmers never give the animals any antibiotics, growth hormones, or steroids. Furthermore, the farmers strive to use all parts of the animals so that nothing goes to waste. For example, they use bones to make bone broth, and they share hides to make leather as well as fat to make cosmetics. I have made several purchases from this farm. The ground chicken was a high quality. The slice of ham was large and had a smoky flavor. The duck wings were large, and I appreciate that the farm kindly gave me instructions to properly cook the duck. I also bought a couple of medium-sized pumpkins that were lovely decorations on my front porch.

So far, I have purchased Coyne's ground beef, beef cubes, beef ribs, ham, pork ribs, chicken eggs, ground chicken, and chicken breasts. The prices of these products were higher than the prices for similar products from the grocery store, but the animals were raised in more humane conditions, and the foods were a higher quality. All of the foods have been very fresh and flavorful. For example, the ham was a large, thick slice, and the pork country ribs were very tender.

On Friday we picked up a cake pictured below that barely resembled the ordered cake. They did not tell us they did not have the soccer cake toppers in advance and were trying to charge us full price for the cake which resembled a cake decorated by an 8 year old. We asked to see a manager and he said they were short handed and the cake decorator was on vacation this week. His solution was to have the cake discounted by $5.00, which does not even cover the cost of the cake topper set on Amazon. Very unprofessional management and staff manning the bakery.

Here are my reviews for my favorite Cherry Valley Organics products: Catnip - 5 stars - This catnip is certified USDA organic. The catnip is available as either fresh stems or as dried/grounded. My cats eat the catnip, roll around in it, smell it, and carry it around WAY more than they do with regular catnip. Zucchini - 5 stars - Their zucchini were a large size, were firm and fresh, and were very tasty. Bar soaps - 5 stars - Their soaps have scents such as chocolate-covered cherry cocoa and raspberry chocolate swirl! I also really enjoyed using the exfoliating lemon poppyseed soap. The soaps lather well, and they thoroughly and gently clean my skin. Lip balm - 5 stars - The scent that I ordered was orange, and the flavor was subtle. The balm moisturized my lips well. Some of their other products that I have bought include ground cherries, spearmint, arugula, salad mix, Swiss chard, stevia leaves, and edible flowers, and these were all a good quality.
