Wife and I decided to give this place a try, mistake! Wife ordered small Michigan cherry salad adding grilled chicken and I the small Sunshine salad and we got the breadsticks. $25 later the breads sticks were the highlight. Salads were iceberg lettuce with some veggies on top. Wife got the added chicken while I did not get grilled chicken that was to come with my salad. Needless to say very disappointed. Advice: stay home and make a salad with better greens and vegetables and save your $$. Adding chicken if you like. read more

Their bread and cheese dip is the only reason I come here, on the occasion that they're actually open. I work in new Hudson and go out of my way to swing by and get some breadsticks to bring home to my family and they are literally NEVER open. It's so so so frustrating when I want to support this business and their awesome food and I'm craving these breadsticks but they aren't open until 4. Today I stopped bye just after 4 and they had a sign in the window that they were closed until 5 today. These guys are losing SO much business with inconsistent hours like this. Not even worth the foood to figure out when they're actually going to be open. If you couldn't tell I'm beyond frustrated and will not be eating here again. We have ordered catering through them twice now. We got the breadsticks, antipasto and Greek salads, pasta salad, mostaccioli, and both BBQ chicken and roasted. The pasta salad is absolutely amazing; lots of flavor and tasty feta cheese. The breadsticks are the best around which everyone else seems to agree on. We went in here STARVING! Literally, I had only had breakfast that day and when we got there it was 7pm. I was dying! So, I overdid it a bit when ordering food for my little family of 3. Whatever, we have been feasting on leftovers for days! We got 2 pepperoni pizzas which were ok, they are also buy one get one free every day! I am not in love with the sauce but it was good none the less. We also got some ribs which were fall off the bone, for real, you can't pick them up, use a fork! They come very heavily sauced which I thought I would hate but it was actually pretty yummy. My daughter wanted mostacholi, she loved the little bits of sausage and peppers and it came with yummy cheese melted on top. Their Greek salad is delicious, I order it with ranch. You should order their ranch dressing too because it is habit forming, put it on everything!!! Which brings me to their crack sticks, I mean, bread sticks. Let me pause here a minute to mop the drool from my chin. If I was stuck on a deserted island with a crate of this bread I would wave off the rescue boat. Even when it goes stale, if you pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds, it magically comes back to life. Dip it in the ranch!! They also have this garlic cheese dip that they graciously gave us a sample of, it was super yummy! Try that too! I have a feeling that we may become regulars. The customer service of this place is off the charts... the owner, mark greeted us and sat and talked to us about catering a funeral lunch-in as sad as we were mark made us feel at home . He brought us a sampling menu of the food that we wanted to order. The garlic herb chicken, meat lasagna, salad, and breadsticks did not disappoint!!! South Lyon has some incredible food establishments to choose from, arguably the best in Southeast Michigan. Aleckos is a staple of this community and boy does it deliver. Out of this world pizza, bread sticks, salads, sandwiches and pasta. It is the go-to Italian restaurant of my fiancé and I. We often dine in, which is super casual (no wait staff), but the customer service is always warm and energetic. This is one of the few places that I would be willing to fork out more money for, but luckily for the average consumer, prices are reasonable. An easy five stars. read more

I really like this place. I used to stop in at the place whenever I was in the South Lyon area and now that I live a bit closer I eat here more frequently. I'm sure most of us can agree that the bread sticks and cheese spread are AMAZING and usually that is what I'd order. Recently, I ordered their mostaccioli just to try something new and I wasn't sure I would like it because I rarely find a restaurant that serves good pasta (I'm picky). It was delicious and the guy who works there - I believe he is Aleko (don't quote me on this) was extremely polite. He gave use free bread while we waited and a free drink and the food wasn't even outlandishly late. I highly recommend. read more

All I have to say is AMAZING bread sticks and on a good day their ribs are to die for.

I used Aleko's catering service's at the last minute for the dinner following my fathers funeral which was just days after Thanksgiving. Mark the owner was fantastic, he even handled my order while he was out of town for the holiday. It was an easy process from start to finish. They delivered to the funeral home dining area and as our service was wrapping up the smell of delicious food was making its way through the building. Everything was set up and ready to go and we didn't have to do a thing. The food was plentiful and fantastic! Everyone raved about it. Our day ended on a good note because we were able to share a very nice meal with our loved ones stress free. So thank you Aleko's for making one of our many jobs in a very chaotic time much easier for us! I highly recommend Aleko's! read more
