I walked a shaky line with my government job. Really only seemed interested in an easy pay day. He had no human empathy for the chronic pain the accident left me in. He seemed to assume that it was an act. It always surprised him when I mentioned it. Finally despite settling before he had to do much work on the case (he specifically stated such at the settlement hearing), he took 40% including off the money I had to pay back to my health insurance and the money he took for costs so he ended up with more money than I did.
