We derive every formula and show how it models the real world, so students can solve whatever the exam throws at them using logic instead of rote tricks. We also teach a system for checking work, back-solving answers, and walking into tests calm and prepared.

Before Alexander Tutoring, I was a high school math and physics teacher. I loved those subjects — to me, they were the language of the universe. But I kept hearing the same two things: "I suck at math," and "When am I ever going to use this?"
Those words stuck with me. Behind them wasn't a lack of ability — it was a lack of confidence and purpose. School had convinced these kids math was a chore they'd never be good at and never need.
I started Alexander Tutoring to bridge that gap — to show students they're not bad at math; they've just never been shown why it matters or how it connects to what they love. One student at a time, we replace fear with confidence and memorization with real understanding.
What began as one teacher on a mission is now a team of real mathematicians, physicists, and engineers who share it. The goal hasn't changed: transform the way students feel about math — for life.

Hi, I'm Sean, founder of Alexander Tutoring.
I fell in love with math and physics when I realized they aren't just subjects to get through — they're the language of the universe, the logic behind everything from a falling apple to a distant star. That feeling changed my life, and I've spent my career trying to pass it on.
What I'm most passionate about is the moment a student who swore they "suck at math" suddenly gets it — when fear turns into curiosity and they start to feel capable. That shift doesn't just raise grades; it builds a confidence that follows them into everything they do.
