Not just the vets, but entire staff from receptionists, pharmacy, and administration at this practice is so professional. Ruby was diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable cancer in February of 2017. Dr Fenchak gave us hope and was available by phone 24/7. He referred us to an animal hospital for further testing and a second opinion. He prescribed pain medication but, also, shared a success story of another patient of his that was treated with turmeric. Sadly Ruby passed on April 6th and Dr Fenchak mailed a handwritten card of condolence. I know we'll adopt another rescue one of these days and there's no question that Dr Fenchak will be our vet once again.

This year right before Labor Day, Ruby started heyvery lethargic, eventually stopped eating. I was able to get in as soon as I called into the office the same day. Turns out she developed very quickly a deadly autoimmune disease. The vets and tech were very attentive and listened to every question I had. And understood that of course we had to act quickly not just for health but also because we were moving out of state. We got a course of action very quickly and had many visits up until the day we moved and they followed up with our new vet as soon as I got them out new information. A glad to say our dog is doing well and has stabilized with their help and care and continued care we have.

They called in the morning just like they said they would and confirmed a 9:30 am arrival. I sat at my desk and looked out my window until 11:45 for them to pull into my driveway. I was in contact with the office during my wait, but the girl there had no idea where they were or why they were so late to the point that we all became worried that maybe something bad had actually happened. All along, I'm distraught because I'm about to end my sweet pug's life who I've had since she was 8 weeks old. That alone was hard enough. So they finally arrive. I meet them on the porch with puffy eyes and snotty tissues in my hand due to the nature of things only to be greeted with silence and smug faces. No apology for making me wait for 2+ hours without explanation. So I say, Hi and invite the two ladies into my home. Still no words so I'm forced to ask which one is the Dr. They didn't even introduce themselves. Here I am entrusting them with something so precious and this is happening. Still, I trusted they would be good to my pug and do their job well for her, which they did for the most part. Ultimately, all I really cared about at the time was that my little old girl go peacefully and without discomfort...although she definitely did not like the first needle going into her paw. :( I do not know why those ladies arrived with such a chip on their shoulder or didn't feel the need to offer an apology for making me wait so long not knowing if they'd EVER show up, but it was really terrible considering the reason they were there in the first place. So much so that I felt compelled to write this review. For what it's worth to anyone who takes the time to read it.

I had some reservations about a spay surgery after a bad experience at a local clinic. Dr. Aubrey Vena and Dr. Johanna Vena made sure to ease any worries I had and made sure Itty Bitty, my cat, had all the pre-op testing she needed. Her post-surgery care was also impressive. They provided options to make sure her stitches stayed clean and dry, medication for pain and meds to manage her asthma also, all while handling my cat's overdramatic tendencies with ease! I can't recommend them enough, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
