Restaurant review only, did not stay there. Finally got a chance to stop by for a bite after hearing about it for a while. We stopped for lunch and sat outside. Not busy on June 3. The decor at the entrance and restaurant is nice. Seats were a bit hard, need cushions. Our server was great! Ordered vegetable fajitas and they were good. The fish tacos were great as well as the order of fries. Definitely recommend for lunch. Beautiful view. $37.50 for the food and 3 sodas. read more

Loved their shrimp pasta...lots of wonderful cheese. The view is awesome. People are friendly. Noise level inside is unbearable.

The food used to be good in the past. Not since the road has been paved thru here. Now the prices are higher and the quality lower. All newer people running the show here now. Flashy new lobby and an attempt at upscaling it. Lipstick on a pig if you ask me.The rooms are ok and it's the only place around so they are expensive. For those hopping for an experience like the old days, forget it. It's gone for good. Still a great location and view. They haven't screwed that up yet. Better off to plan on staying in San Felipe to the north and Gerrro Negro to the south. You will get a room and dinner for two in those towns for less than the cost of a non air conditioned room here. read more

The low quality food and excessive prices makes you fell like you got ripped off. $15 for a broken noodles and four shrimp with cream sauce. Sure you can get tacos and other Mexican classics but still overpriced. I have seen this place going from a shack to a wanna be resort. The problem is their poor service, lack of care for their guest is not like most baja business treat clients...and you know why? Cause there isn't any other place to eat or stay near by...not yet. Its nice to visit for the day and perhaps stay one night but, I much rather get my own food across the road where by the way now they have a much better value taco shop. Big ripoff with $100. per room with no electric outlets in room or in bathroom. Cannot plug in a cell phone charger or any electrical devices whatsoever. Hotel staff couldn't care less and even the wi-fi connection costs big bucks for 300 mb. of usage. Best view of ocean, right on the beach, the only hotel around, but they rip off all the customers and I guess they do not want repeat business. Try paying 2 U.S. Dollars for a cup of coffee, or 6 dollars for the quesadillas. Best view, clean room with no key provided, and two towels for the room. read more
