This restaurant was found completely by accident while in the Ceramic Quarter of Grottaglie. It was a great find especially when all other businesses were closed. The service was super friendly and very helpful despite our limited Italian vocabulary. They offered recommendations and pairings for our orders. They provided a small sampling of various breads which were all amazing. I ordered the Cold Cuts and Selection of Cheeses as my starter. The cheeses were great. The spicy cheese was my favorite. Don't worry it wasn't that spicy more of a spice flavor. The meats were tasty though I wasn't too fond of the fish but I would still recommend to give it a try. The fig jam was interesting and the honey was absolutely delicious. My second course was Boneless free-range chicken with lemon sauce. If you like lemon then this is for you. The lemon sauce was interesting and elevated the grilled chicken. The potatoes and vegetables I could have ate as a meal themself. They were perfectly grilled and well seasoned. I would strongly recommend both and to share with your table. Lastly, we finished with Lemon Sorbet with Red Fruit Sauce. This was the perfect ending to a great meal on a warm day. read more
