Around the trunk of the tree was a large area of mulch which made the entire area around 12 feet in circumference. My wife and I had the tree cut down because we plan on a remodel in the near future. Once the tree was gone we realized the front yard looked barren and we needed something in its place. We called bill for an estimate he was timely and very honest (one of the things I really liked about him). Bill mapped out a plan and though the jobs was simple he gave it a ton of attention and made sure we were happy. Bill even contacted us after to see how the tree and grass were progressing. Bill suggested a Japanese Maple tree (slow grower and not huge) and some catmint sitting on an edged small island and he dropped new top soil and grass seed to fill in the larger area. It looks awesome and the Japanese Maple tree alone was beautiful! It is approximately 8 feet tall, thick and lush. The tree looks extremely healthy. These trees are expensive and I'll tell you I went to many nurseries to price these trees and they were all straggly and did not support lush growth. Point being Bill orders quality products and it shows. My grass is growing in and my tree looks awesome, I get compliments all the time. Another thing I liked was Bill's staff courteous and neat and Bill oversees all the projects and returns to the project location for appropriate oversight of his staff. He is extremely accessible to the customer. We plan on doing this renovation and I feel I have to look no further for exterior landscaping design and even for a new outdoor patio (they do that too!) Every part of our yard has its own function and it looks great and feels great. We hang out, bbq, host in our backyard as much as we can. They fully gutted our backyard, leveled out, installed an extensive retaining wall, reinstalled the fence, installed new patio areas and stepping stones, and installed new sod. Diego and his crew worked SO HARD. Our project was done in July 2025 and it was so hot out, but Diego and his guys wanted to finish our project for us before the summer ended. Diego was always communicative, kind, professional, knowledgable, and such a pleasure to work with. He worked with us on our budget, gave us multiple options, and made the best recommendations. Best money spent / investment!…read more Over the years, we've had an increase in the amount of water pooling in the backyard. This ultimately led to water issues in our basement. I looked at various options (e.g. basement French drain). I eventually came across Marvin at Total Maintenance Pro via Google Reviews (they hold impressive ratings) to ask for an opinion. He came out and assessed the situation and came up with a plan. He even went to the township to chase down folks to get preliminary approval without a penny up front. I didn't know he was going to do this - and appreciated his diligence. His estimate was reasonable for the work effort (and 1/3 the cost of a basement French drain). When it came time to perform the work, a team of 10 showed up with heavy equipment. They explained the process and what we should expect. They finished on time as planned. The workmanship is impressive. I'm confident that their solution will keep water out of our backyard AND from entering our basement. In summary - amazing team of professionals who know what they are doing. The work was immaculately done and we absolutely LOVE the end result/solution they put in place.
