First off, Alfyn is such a big heart! When you meet first with her you instantly feel so at ease. She really wants to help you. It's apparent in how she speaks and in her actions. That's just who she is. I was able to attend a Brand and Build event and it exceeded my expectations. We had met initially for a one-on-one to chat about our businesses and collaborations. Then she said, "why don't you come to my event" which was happening right after our meeting. "OMG," instantly went through my mind. I wasn't prepared. I had almost no make up on and was wearing my favorite, "oldie but goldie" sweatshirt. It's the cutest grey sweat shirt, with appliques of tigers and butterflies on it, but has stains on it that I can't get out. (believe me, I've tried it all) Yet, I had enjoyed our meeting so much and was wanting the good vibes to continue. So I said yes. I am so glad I did! Alfyn is a dear and so easy to work with. She has been the only person I've trusted capturing my kids growing up and my family's precious moments. I throw ideas at her, but she's the artist and I'll let her do her magic. Sometimes you just have to trust in the process. I met Alfyn quite a few years ago through a mutual friend. I always admired her work but never really had a need for professional photos of myself, especially boudoir photos.
