This is the single best gluten free pizza you will ever have. Period. Super fresh ingredients and the goopiest stringiest cheese you'll ever have on pizza. It's incredible. Locals love this place - tucked below the Pike Place Market in the gum wall alley. This place is a whole vibe! Dark and moody. Everything is fresh and you can see everything be made. Ask for hot honey be added to the pizza!!!

They were out there really late. We got to the airport and to the restaurant that was close. This place had pretty good ratings over on Yelp. The waitstaff was great. Pretty dark place, but it made sense for the vibes. We were torn between the chicken jalapeno pizza and the pizza con carne, as they suggested. We just did a half and half, so that's what we did. The pizza con carne for me was a 3.5 out of 5. The chicken and jalapeno was a 3 out of 5. The pizza con carne had a good flavor, but it wasn't a great flavor, but the ranch was a must for me. The pizza con carne really increased the flavor of the pizza. The ranch did the same thing for the chicken jalapeno pizza. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the cilantro was very pronounced. I enjoyed that portion of it. It was a cool place, definitely great to go after hours. I would go again and try some of the other pizzas this morning. Overall, I liked it. The restaurant gets a three out of five.

Hidden gem off the "gum" Wall route. Up high, at least four stories, if sitting by the open windows. Very cool! Pizza was thin crust, just like I like it. Andouie sausage with green peppers. "Happy Hour" all day so I had a house red - good! BEST thing I noticed, the glassware was sparkling clean! Server was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go here again.

Late night gem, serving your favorite pie till 1AM and drinks till 2AM. Flew in late to SEATAC and needed some food downtown. Friend recommended the Alabi Rm. I had a really good pizza and some top drinks. My three things: 1) If you need a buzz the Alabi special is Jaemo shot and a Miller High Life for $12. 2) Pizza crust is thin with a good snap on the bite. Had the goat cheese, prosciutto, and arugula pie. The earthy goat cheese matched with the sweet gravy was great. 3) Played cocktail roulette with the bartender and had some great drinks.

Stopped here just before. Show at the Showbox on 1st. Pizza was fantastic. It especially nice that we can split the pizza with two different flavors, which was nice. They also have an option to have hot honey on the side so that you can drizzle them yourself, which was nice. The service was very quick even though the bar was very busy. Very much appreciated the waiting staff: The vibe is always cozy and immaculate. It's such an iconic Seattle place in the heart of Pike Place Market with the grungiest vibes. It also helps that it's a little hidden just steps away from the gum wall. I strongly recommend taking someone from out of town to experience the true Seattle vibes here! Cheers!

Lovely spot for a snack and afternoon drinks!! We popped by here because we weren't sure hungry and in the area. Got a table for 2 around 5pm with no issue. We got some ciders to drink and shared their cheesy bread which I know is so simple but was divine. And then of course the cider was enough and they had this delicious deep eddy ruby red vodka drink which was so refreshing. All of the staff were incredibly kind. Great casual spot!!

We only got to have drinks but the pizza looked soooo good! If we hadn't of had dinner plans with family we would of been ordering it! As such, we had to be content with drinks. I had a hot buttered rum which not many places have and it was good. Tasted like a a butterscotch candy. The other drink, a hot toddy, was ok, it was strong! Will put hair on your chest. Lol Ambiance is cool. Has a great laid back feel. I got a kick out of them using big olive cans as the pizza stand at the tables

Wow... Seattle, you've completely spoiled me with this pizza! I live in Florida and I'm so sad I haven't found anything down here that comes close. This place instantly won me over with its speakeasy-style vibe... You walk through tunnels and alleyways to get in, and it just feels like a hidden gem. Loved everything about the atmosphere! Service was a little slow at first, but I loved the place so much, that I wasn't bothered after the fact. Now the food... INSANELY GOOD!! I tried the grape and blue cheese pizza and the fig, goat cheese and prosciutto pizza (without the prosciutto) and holy sh*t!! Both were out-of-this-world delicious!! Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. I started with the cheese bread (so good) and paired everything with a nice glass of wine. Perfect combination. The vibe, the food, the whole experience... Just unforgettable. Next time I'm back in Seattle, this spot will be a must. Florida seriously needs to take notes because pizza back home just isn't hitting like this!

Their pizza dough is SO good! Soft and chewy but also crispy! I tried to prosciutto/goat cheese/honey/fig pizza and the toppings were good (though I'd prefer pepperoni honestly) I loved the sort of secret vibe. It's almost hidden near the gum wall and Pike Place Market.

Came here for a late night pizza craving. I tried the meatballs and pepperoni pizza with mushrooms. Meatballs weren't all that good to me, kind of bland, but the pizza was delicious. The ambiance is more like a dive bar/restaurant. The bartender who helped me was very nice and helped me with my order. Overall positive experience.

I really like this restaurant. We came here based on yelp recommendations, as well as looking in a few other websites. It is in the middle of the public market at Pike's Place. Had to go to look for it since the entrance to this place is down a long, dark ramp alley with walls full of chewed bubblegum. Lol! Kind of a restaurant/bar with a cool field and laid-back vibe. Great pizza and food. Recommended!

I've been here 2 times in two different years and it's been A1 both times. They have amazing pizza and it's what they're known for. But they really excel in other foods without really being recognized for it. The waiters are very nice and it's easy to get a drink quickly from the bar; even when seated in the restaurant

Is this place good for large groups like around 7-8?

I wouldn't bring that big of a group since they have limited seating options. But if you call ahead they might be able to move two tables together?

Do they allow people under 21 for lunch in the restaurant?

    Yes

    Do you take reservations?

    Yes they do!

    Is there outdoor seating?

No outdoor seating but the indoor tables are placed far enough apart to allow for social distancing and it doesn't feel too crammed.

Are there any gluten free options available?

Yes! All the pizzas can be made on gluten free crust.

In the evening is the place kid friendly?

    Nope

Hi, I'll be in the area soon, wondering what type of music they play? Thanks!

White Stripes and Cake so far. Bluesy, funky rock. Edgy rock with horns (musical and devilish variety).

They also have a lovely happy hour that we just barely missed, but would definitely come back to try. Such a great spot for casual conversation, good drinks, and a breathtaking view. Something about watching the boats and planes and the waves is just gorgeous. Note- the 20% tip is pre-loaded onto the bill, so any tip you add is on top of that 20%!

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.

I am a rebel with a food cause and opted to dine at The Loupe Lounge on my layover. Well, that was the master plan but coming from Maui, there were delays and my little mission was diverted. Abort? Absolutely NOT! Being a SUPER optimistic about everything in life, I rushed to make a 5:30 p.m. reservation at 7:00 p.m. I know, it was pushing it but for $150 a person I did not want this opportunity to go to waste. We arrived at The Space Needle and were whisked up to The Loupe Lounge. The host was not sure if they could still serve us so she rushed to get the manager. She must have gone back to NYC Fashion Week because here comes the manager looking like a whole GQ model, super trendy manager in the house! Well, he accommodated us, very cool of him. You're an Angel cause we were starving! The food was packaged to go, it was so delicious I'm super bummed that we didn't get to experience this in person. Instagram : @yeapeats…read more I was excited to try Needle & Thread since it's often described as a speakeasy, but the "hidden" aspect didn't quite live up to expectations. Unlike other speakeasies that feel truly hidden, you actually just walk into Tavern Law, check in with the hostess, and let them know you have a reservation. They then guide you to a telephone where you repeat your reservation name before being let upstairs. It's a fun concept, but not especially secretive, and they're pretty strict about not letting you up early unless it's very empty. Once seated, we actually waited almost 20 minutes before being served with no acknowledgement. We ended up having to flag down the manager just to bring attention to our table, which was disappointing given the experience they're aiming for. The waitress asks a series of questions about your preferences--likes, dislikes, and flavor inspirations--so the bartenders can create custom cocktails for you. If you're knowledgeable about alcohol, this is probably a dream. If you're not (like me), it can feel a little intimidating, but our waitress was patient and did her best to guide us through it. The drinks themselves were excellent. Even the shots were customized, which was a nice touch. The vibe upstairs is chill and relatively quiet, making it a great place to relax and talk. Food is the same menu as downstairs at Tavern Law, so nothing new there. The only downside--and unfortunately a noticeable one--was an interaction with the female bartender (not our waitress). Based on the questions we were asked, my friend gave a mix of savory and sweet preferences, since we were told these were just inspirations. However, the female bartender came over sounding visibly annoyed and said, "So do you want savory or sweet? You're giving contradicting answers." The tone felt unnecessarily rude, especially since we were just following the process as it was explained to us. Overall, the drinks were great and the concept is unique, but between the delayed service and that negative interaction, it definitely put a damper on the experience.
