I AM GETTING MY LIFE BACK I have been struggling with chronic unknown illness, pain, and depression for about 10 years. I have seen several doctors and chiropractors during this time frame, but no one has been able to truly help me find a long term, healthy solution At one point my life seemed to have fallen apart. I lost friends. I got divorced. I was bypassed for promotions. My family got tired of hearing the same sob story over and over. So, in effort to try to help myself, I moved. I switched jobs. I dated. I drank. I ate. I meditated. I changed medicines, added medicines, stopped medicines, took anti-inflammatories. Went to therapy, read and prayed (which all helped me mentally), but I still wasn't getting the physical care I needed. I then found myself alone, using all my energy just to go to work and come home. I felt like I had the flu ALL THE TIME. I couldn't even enjoy my active hobbies, which made my depression worse. I was 100% exhausted from being on over-drive and considered suicide on many occasions. Fast forward a couple years after being accustomed to living like a robot during the day and sobbing at night (usually using work as excuse for my absence in life) I heard about Dr. S and Dr. Z's clinic and decided to give it a try. Before coming for chiropractic care I was prescribed by my physcian 800mg of Ibueprofen 3 times a day. This was causing me stomache problems and I really was not getting much relief from the pain. I am a person that struggles with migraines, extreme low back pain, fatigue, and premenstrual symptoms. I endured an MS flare-up last Sunday morning. The numbness in my left arm & hand made it feel like I was carrying around a useless dead weight.
