I love going to Aligned Movement. A small friendly studio has a great variety of classes, private lessons and individual attention. I am loving the reformer classes - they are amazing. I highly recommend trialling this Pilates + studio and finding your way to positive physical health. Worth every $. I wish I had access to this kind of workout years ago. The A Team of instructors know you as an individual and make adjustmens for any injuries. Classes are a safe and fun way to exercisr and build core strngth and balance. read more

Specialties

Aligned Movement offers Pilates classes and private lessons based in Kerikeri. Led by certified Pilates instructor, Alyssa Ramey, all classes are mixed level. Unwind and de-stress, Pilates focuses on connecting breath with movement leaving you feeling refreshed and energised by the time you walk out the door. Pilates is also famous for strengthening your core which in turn will help increase your flexibility. Known as a low-impact exercise, you will be able to gain control working those deeper muscles that in turn make you stronger and lasting longer. You'll not only feel the difference but see the difference too!

History

Established in 2015.

Aligned Movement started off as a company that provided Pilates and dance instruction services to multiple businesses throughout New Zealand's busiest city. After great success in Auckland, Aligned Movement relocated to Kerikeri and opened its doors to the public in January 2016.

Meet the Business Owner: Alyssa R.

Orginally from a small town in California, Alyssa has followed her love boat romance right here to Kerikeri after meeting her Kiwi partner whilst dancing on cruise ships. With over 10 years of teaching experience under her belt, Alyssa can help you improve your posture, gain flexibility and stregthen your core. Well liked by her clients down in Auckland, Alyssa's passion for Pilates and movement based exercises shines through in class. Her cheeky sense of humor will not only give you a good laugh, but make your core burn even more.
