I have been coming to Orleans since 1997 and we finally have a pho restaurant that is close by and delicious! The owner is very kind and attentive. I ordered the banh cuon (steam rice rolls) and pho dac biet (special beef pho). It was delicious and this satisfied my Vietnamese comfort food craving! It was a delight to find good Asian food, not fast food quality. Two ordered the specials - starter, main course, fried rice or steamed white rice. We tried the fried pork spring rolls, the fresh shrimp salad, the fried pork chops, hainese chicken with ginger and fresh coriander, beef pho soup, the bowl of rice vermicelli with lettuce, beef, fried pork spring rolls. They each had very fresh gteens and herbs. Well seasoned but not too salty. Large portions. Wine available. Excellent service. Their English was better than my French.
