100% amazing customer service! When I called Larry to schedule an in home estimate, Larry made time to be at our house 2 days out. That's awesome in itself, as the two other companies I called, offered to schedule weeks out and didn't even seem interested in my business. Larry arrived at least 10 minutes early and moved fast through our house taking measurements. He has such a likable personality with a humble demeanor. After measuring, he worked out the numbers in minutes while also showing us the options and colors. We were planning on only a few windows, we ended up covering all of our windows. Larry has the best prices in town and along with exceptional customer service - you need to call this guy!! More amazing is that 2 days after the install my dog ate one of the blades. Larry was cool. He gave me directions on how to remove the panel, on my own so I could bring to their shop (before my wife got home from a biz trip) they called me a few hrs later the same day. I hired Larry Black at All About Blinds to provide my home in Peoria with quality blinds in August 2016. The delivery was prompt and Larry installed them all within a sort time. I was so very pleased. There was a flaw in one of the roller blinds and Larry ordered a new one. The new blind was installed by the manufacturer's rep. This one is battery operated since it is quite large. These shades are programmed to go up and down to a specific length and height. The fellow programming the new blind had a very difficult time and after almost 2 hours he couldn't get it right. So, we just lived with what we had. Fast forward a year and the blind was getting stuck. So, I telephoned Larry Black to see if he could fix it. To my very happy surprise he drove across the valley and was at my home by noon the same day. I've used Larry's service before. This time I called Larry for additional blinds. He came the day of the call (on my request), which is typical of him to accommodate. He measured, gave me a reasonable quote, then ordered the blinds. Once the blinds were made and ready for install, Larry called and came the day of that call (on my request) to install the blinds. Again, he is very accommodating. I swear that if the blinds were available that day of the quote, Larry would have installed them. He's just that efficient, having the strongest work ethic. His work is impeccable too. He backs up his product. I had a guy come in to fix a door and he broke one of the clips on the blinds Larry had installed. Larry drove over that day to replace it. No charge. Larry is very reliable and honest. He shows up on time, and does an excellent job. He backs up his work and his products. I highly recommend him. I'm really pleased with my experience with All About Blinds and Shutters. Larry came out and measured the windows very timely and showed me samples. He also provided expert insights, and since I don't purchase products like these often, I appreciate that. My blinds were a bit late in coming, but Kandace followed up daily with me until my shutters arrived from the manufacturer and were installed. They are wonderful - just what I wanted (plantation shutters). Great quality, great looking, installed by a very professional installer who also did a great job. My only negative comment is that the shutters have a bit of a chemical/paint smell to them that hasn't abated as much or as quickly as I would have liked. Of course, now that I can open the windows since we're past the heat of summer, I am hopeful that this will clear up soon. We called to make an appointment for an estimate on our first home and to our surprise were able to get a same day appointment. Larry was right on time, very friendly and polite. Came in measured our windows and had samples galore of any kind of window covering we could imagine. He was able to give us a quote right on the spot. I only take the time to write reviews when I have had an awful experience or an extremely good experience. In this case, it is because I had an extremely good experience with 'All About Blinds'. I called around to 3 different places and they were the first to return my call, the first to show up, and the best priced. I also payed Lowe's to come to my house and give an estimate and they were almost double the price of 'All About Blinds'. Larry from 'AAB' called back to follow up with us and I decided to go with them. No kidding, my blinds were installed in less than 2 weeks after I payed.
