Tina set up a big tent in my living room, which has a light ivory-ish carpet, and not a single drop of stain escaped. My friend opted for a lighter shade and I went as dark as I could without looking foolish. Over the day the colour deepened and I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. My friend and I exchanged excited texts. The following evening, my male friends couldn't stop saying that something about me seemed different. Had I lost weight? Was I sure I hadn't? And that's a shame - because it's excellent. Walk through the shop to the back and down the stairs, and you'll find a couple of beauty rooms. I got a warm welcome from Janina, my therapist, who was lovely and friendly throughout. They use lycon hot wax and the rooms are extremely tidy and clean. Therapists wear gloves and there is no dipping the stick back into the wax. The best thing about the set up is that there is a tv in each room where you'll be lying back and watching Sex and the City episodes while your wax takes place. An amazing distraction from the job at hand! The hot wax was quick, about 20 minutes, very painless and thorough. Best of all, it's a complete steal. Cheapest place I've found in London. This place is certainly worth trekking across London for. I am looking forward to going back many times in the future.
